I ordered these Monday when they popped up on the website. Got delivered around Friday or so. They went away and aren’t on the site anymore? Maybe they prematurely loaded them up?THE ROGER Pro LC

Either way, I’ll take it! There was also a Roger Spin Laver Cup version that loaded Monday and went away as well.Or maybe they're meant to be a Laver Cup exclusive. Good score!
That Swiss Engineering label is misleading if the shoes are made in China.THE ROGER Pro LC

It's not untrue though. The engineering / R&D could really have been done in Switzerland and the mass production is done in China. If the shoe was labeled "Produced in Switzerland" that'd be a different story. That Swiss Engineering label is misleading if the shoes are made in China.
Huge difference between design and engineering. In Apple's case I trust that their designers are US based.Or Apple products saying designed by Apple in California.
Anyone familiar with production in China knows there is lot of engineering done locally in order to manufacture anything. It is the reality of making products. Here is an easy example: the synthetic they use for their upper. It must be an Asian supplier that made it, not ON. Do you think there is no engineering in manufacturing that synthetic? Their Swiss Engineering is arrogant and misleading. It's not untrue though. The engineering / R&D could really have been done in Switzerland and the mass production is done in China. Because I'm in the athletic footwear business (yes, manufactured in Asia) I am more sensitive to shoes. With the racquets I am a bit more indifferent as it is not my field....Just like Babolat. "Engineered in France" but made in China.
I'd agree to an extent. Yes there's going to be engineering around the machinery used for production / assembly line / etc. That said, I'm not going to argue with someone who works in the industry and knows more about it than me.Huge difference between design and engineering. It looks so Serena Williams
For my feet, they are a little wider than the Vapor 9.5. I wear thicker socks with my ONs, but I still really like these shoes.can anyone comment on sizing of these compared to the Vapor pro 1 or Vapor 9/9.5/X? Thanks
Thanks for the reply. How did you find the length? For my feet, they are a little wider than the Vapor 9.5. I wear thicker socks with my ONs, but I still really like these shoes.
You must be crazy to buy 550$ shoe looking like thisOriginal concepts for the Kith collab, look better than that red clay on white mess in my opinion

The power of marketing!
Probably the worst shoe I have tried at highest price I ever paid for the shoe...
Anyone have any info on whether there will be new colours available for the AO? Been wanting to try this shoe out before it gets updated but not too keen on the white and blue that seems to be the only one available in my size right now
The best (most effective) marketing are the misleading ones. I think the choice of the word "Engineered" is to make the design process sound more technical. Nike does this with their "Engineered to the exact specifications ..." label. The main people who "engineer" shoes are actually designers, mostly trained at some kind of art institute with a footwear design background. What they do is a kind of engineering, because elements of the footwear are designed for functional reasons, but as a trained engineer and scientist, I always cringe a little when I see this kind of marketing. That Swiss Engineering label is misleading if the shoes are made in China.
Based on my experience, the real engineering happens in Asia, if a shoe is made in China or around it.The best (most effective) marketing are the misleading ones.
