The Fed matches don't bother me "as much" anymore. I've become used to a lot of the same tired patterns right from 2005 in all the high stakes epics that he has lost. The guy can be so stubborn at times that it eventually becomes annoying to watch that particular match.
If Fed would have won today and regrouped on Thursday he would have still being the favourite for the title. It was one bad match. But that's no excuse. QFs is not the occasion to play a bad match and that too against a big server. You gotta be sharp as fcuk.
He would have choked away a couple of sets in a hypothetical final (there's only so much he can do by being over reliant on serving). That poll on GPPD with fans voting for him to play Ned in the final at this stage of their careers is one of the dumbest things I've seen here.
