One more Serena thread...

I missed the whole press conference afterwards and I scoured the countless Serena threads on here but I didn't see this asked or answer yet...

Does anyone know if she was asked in her presser exactly what she was mad about? Was she mad because she thinks she didn't foot fault and that the line judge made an error or was she mad that the line judge called her on a foot fault at that point in the match?

I would be very interested in the answer to that question from Serena's perspective.

If the answer is #1 I don't know how someone who is no stranger to being called for foot faults could be that upset if she thought she the call was incorrect...how could she possibly know?

If it's #2 well...then I don't really know what to say... For her to go on a psycho rage like that just because she was mad the judge did her job...that's scary...

Does anyone know?

Let's not forget this is ONLY the 3rd time Serena has been denied an opportunity to win a major. We all remember what happened at the French and Henin match. As far as I'm concerned Serena should have been up at least two more majors. Having said that I think her outburst is just accumulated frustration. Remember, she's not playing for a pair of k-swiss sneakers at the country club. These are history making events, the steaks are high! Henceforth, Serena could have tied BJK's record of 12 majors. This is big stuff and unless you're not in that situation yourself stop passing judgment!

Just to clarify, BJK's total is not a "record". She stands at #6 on the list, so Serena would could have tied BJK for 6th place on the list, not a record.
