One of Novak's biggest achivements is...

How be keeps embarrassing the younger gen. It will be such a big loss the day I can no longer just have a good laugh about how these guys keep losing to a mid to late 30s player.

Just to count the most notable ones from the past 3 years:
1) Beating Carlos during the RG 2023 semi
2) Straight setting Sinner in the Wimbledon 2023 semi
3) Beating Carlos from MP down in the Cincy final
4) Straight setting Medvedev in the USO final
5) Demolishing Carlos and Sinner b2b in the YEC final
6) Making the Wimbledon final in 2024 on one leg
7) Straight setting Carlos in the Olympics final
8) Beating Carlos easily in the AO QF
9) Beating Zverev at 38 in the RG QF

I have said it before and will say it again, I cannot understand why people want Djoker to retire. Could you imagine how the egos of grade A twats like Loserpas and Abuserev would have been stoked had he not been around to humiliate them again and again? He brings perfect balance to the tennis

Not if the reason for the loss is that it's on or after 22 May 2027 and you can now just have a good laugh about how these guys keep losing to an early 40s player.

Agree with everything except 4 and 9. That is just meh.

Novak’s best chance is to allow Sinner to punch himself out of energy by running him around the court and not giving him pace to work with.

Sinner has been playing this tournament like it was a hard court hitting the daylights out of the ball as usual.

My question is how long can Sinner do that for, and if he does what will he have left over for the final?

As annoying as it was watching Djokovic win so much while being a shadow of his earlier self in 2019-2023, the big upside was that it stopped the likes of Medvedev, Tsitsipas, and Zverev from disgracing the All-Time Great category with their presence.
66% agree

Beating a version of Raz who could barely move in sets 3 and 4 due to his cramps is not particularly notable, that's like saying Alcaraz beating a Novak at W 2024 who played his first tournament after the leg injury is noteworthy. Otherwise, you're displaying a double standard in which beating a player with physical issues is only impressive depending on who you support.

Olympics 2024 and AO 2025 are magnificent examples of Novak beating Alcaraz in the big places though.

But, anyway, Alcaraz dominates 2-0 Novak in Wimbledon finals and Sinner demolished in straight sets Novak at his pet Slam the AO, with Sinner clearly leading the H2H over Novak since 2024. So it's a bidirectional rivalry, rather than a one-sided one by Novak. In fact, Sinner is dominating Novak since 2024 (big chance for Novak to overturn this in the SF of RG though).

it has to be the creation of the biggest enigma in tennis history
the more djoker won, the less ppl appreciate his brilliance
as it proves how shxtty the era is, esp before the rise of sinner and carlos in the last two years
it is really unfair to djoker

Can you PLEASE say it again?

You promised. (First sentence).
