Andy Murray is not big 3 talent. But what he lacked in weapons, he made so in versatility. At one point he had slice rivaling Roger (just shy), best lob and return of serve rivaling Djokovic (just shy). He was also the fastest player on the court and his backhand was again rivaling Djokovic (just shy).
These are the players in current top 10 except Djokovic.
1. Carlos Alcaraz - 1 match vs Murray. Pre prime Alcaraz played a match vs Andy Murray. Alcaraz is already in his prime today but he never got to face prime Murray. Still amazing match here.
2. Medvedev - Good 3 matches vs Murray but this would have been most interesting rivalry in tennis. Both guys made winning ugly a habbit. Murray ROS vs Medvedev Serve would be amazing and the rallies would be probably like Medvedev Djokovic.
3. Sinner - 2 matches vs Murray. Sinner just now hitting his prime. Never faced someone like Murray. It would have been a challenge of Sinner power vs Murray defense.
4. Rublev - 2 matches. Murray thrashed pre prime Rublev in 2017 but only played 1 match vs good Rublev. Another mismatch of the two.
5. Tsitsipas - This rivalry is good. We got 2 great 5 setters. USOpen 2021 and Wimbledon 2023. I think Murray would crush Thiem if fully fit though, both matches he was up 2 sets to 1.
6. Zverev - Lol at Zverev, he has 1-2 losing H2H vs post hip surgery Murray. This guy is a joke.
7. Rune - No matches ever played. But Rune is 20 and yet to enter his prime so that's fine. Murray would be 36 anyway even if he played Rune today so post prime is what he might be. Like Wawrinka at 36.
8. Hurkacz - 3 matches in 2021. Nice little rivalry but nothing like what it could be. Andy Murray facing Hurkacz on indoors and grass would be epic. Like the matches vs Raonic and Kyrgios.
