At this year's French Open, there are only 2 past champions in French Open draw. Of course, this is attributed to Nadal's dominance at the tournament.

This has happened every year at the French Open since 2009. In 2008, Kuerten, Moya, and Nadal were in the draw.

In 2005, there were 6 past champions: Moya, Agassi, Kuerten, Costa, Ferrero, and Gaudio in the draw.

At last year's US Open, there were 5 past champions in the draw.
