Open Sud de France - ATP 250

Simon, Kohl, Sousa the ones to watch.

Kohl will be hungry after a disappointing AO, is fine on HC, and it's in Europe.
Watch out for him.

Good match with Janowicz and Brown. Brown broken serving for the match not having faced any trouble on serve, then has match points in the third but is broken next game and JJ serves it out to love. 2-6 7-6 7-5

Please, for the love of the game, someone stop the top two seeds from facing each other in the final. Another Monf/Simon match will set tennis back 20 years!

Glad to see Darcis qualify and he has a winnable match 1R vs Ito and would face the Nieminen/Struff survivor in 2R.

Basilashvili (what a name) Vs Paire om now.
Again dreadful court surround colour for TV coverage.
Ball just disappears in the light pink down the far end...
Why don't they just stick to what works?

What's the score? Paire is really struggling since his injury.

Really striking that with no forehand nor mental the guy reached #25 or something. You have to admit his two hander his beautiful though.

Feel good story of Darcis continues with a win over Jarkko...plays Monfils/de Schepper winner in the QFs. May give Goffin a run for #1 Belgian if he can continue this uphill climb from injury.

Big JJ saves tennis by removing Simon from contention. I also like Darcis vs flu-ridden, gimpy Monfils.

Monfils doing the Djokpossum...drops the first set to Darcis but will fight through the flu and his Achilles unhealed for a comeback!

Seriously? Gasquet v Monfils again? I think they played at the same exact round last year. Gosh, it almost seems like match fixing.

Regardless of Monfils condition, Monfils in straights. Gasquet is one of my favorites, but he plays with zero backbone when it comes to countryman or people he's friends with.

Just like we planned. Oui.

Wow. Guess I was wrong. Glad to know Gasquet pulled it through. Will be rooting for him in the final, but he better not be doing any of that apologizing for winners nonsense.

I enjoyed the Gasquet Monfils match. Gasquet turned it up just when he needed to.
Reckon the win for Gasquet, as Janowitz struggles to keep it together for long enough.
