Oppinions on Dunlop 200g 90 sq in and Head I Prestige XL

Rookie
HI there, I am using a head prestige mid type frame.

Any of you who have switched to the dunlop 200g 90 sq in because you found it in any respect superior to a Head LM prestige MID or Head prestige classic MID?
If yes then what was that made you switch?

The other issue. I have hit with a Head I Prestige XL some time ago and I remember I was surprised that when hitting the racket (head size -98 sq. in) felt like it had a smaller head (i.e. 93 sq in).

Is there anyone out there who would make a case for switching to the Dunlop 200g 90 or the Head I prestige XL knowing that all I ever could play with was a Head Prestige MID frame (prestige tour, LM, composite professional etc...)

Any input would be very much appreciated.

Thank you

Can't get the 200GMW 90" in the states. I used to use them and loved them, till my bag got ripped off. Now I am a dedicated 200G MW 95 user. Better than the Hotmelt or the new M-fil. I don't get why the pros prefer the Prestige to the 200G ( Safin, Phillipousos) I thought the Dunlop had a better sweet spot and better feel. Just my opinion.

Mid vs MPXL

The reason IP XL feels smaller than the 98sqi size is that it's head shape is slightly "narrower" or "longer" than the standard one (even though the total area remains the same) --- and that's what give the "mid-size" feel to most mid-sized racquets.

MW-200G 90 is an excellent choice that you can get from an online shop down-under.

However, Prestiage Classics is still a great choice, which still is among the best of the available mid-size frames (if you know where's the "SPOT" to get it), and given that it's still underneath a lot of the pro's "paintjobs".

On the other hand, some claim that ProKennex Heritage Type C 93 is a good one if you don't mind the weight.

I never played the i.prestige xl, but I did hit with the MW 90 for 5 months last year. If you are a flatballer, you'll love it. I found that I had better results if I played the schalken type game (straight back and thru - both wings with nothing fancy). I naturally take decently large backswings off both sides so I struggled a little too much. IMHO you need to play quite a bit to get the most out of it.
