Organix 10 Mid vs Power Bridge 10 Mid?

Hall of Fame
Can anyone give a comparison of the Volkl Organix 10 Mid and the Volkl Power Bridge 10 Mid?

Especially in the areas of: spin potential, volleys, feel/touch, serves, power, control, stability, and maneuverability (ok...in all areas)

Thanks.

Just sayin man, I don't think a mid would suit you very well.

Since I'm now an all doubles player you could be right, but yesterday I played my second best tennis (4 sets and 4 wins against 4.5 players) since I returned to tennis about 8 months ago...played with 6.1 BLX 16x18 and some with my old POG mid. Serves, volleys, and control seemed so much better than with the 'bigger boys' I've been playing with recently.

I don't know why you guys consistently gave irrelevant answers to the question.
All he wants to know the differences beteween two racquets.
I have played with Oganix 10 mid last 9 months and just bought PB 10 mid (2013).
I have spent a couple of hours only with PB 10 due to the wintery weather.
The big differences I felt so far are

Organix 10 Mid: bigger sweetspot, better forgiving, stability
PD 10 Mid: maneuverability, soft feel, more arm-friednly

Check Chris' review on the following link. He described the differences very well between two racquets.

I will update my opinion after playing enough time with PB 10 mid.

I have not played with the Organix 10, but I tried to play with the Volkl Power Bridge 10. I thoroughly loved the way the PB10 looked and had to have it. It's decent in that it does everything ok from the ground strokes, serves to the volleys, but nothing stood out. If you like the playability of the POG with its stiffness and the open string pattern, I doubt you'd like the feel of the PB10. Also, though it's an arm friendly racquet, the hits near the top of the frame caused all sorts of vibration and discomfort.
I honestly think you should look into the Pacific frames. The X Force Pro and the X Feel Pro did everything better than the PB10. The X Force Pro had just as nice control on everything compared to the PB10 but with much more pop. The X Feel Pro is such a sweet stick that I can describe it as the mix of the Prince POG Mid and the IG Prestige MP. The control and the feel is superb.
I tested many, many racquets after I decided to move on from the Ultra 2's and the St. Vincent Pro Staff's. There were so many nice racquets that it really was hard to decide. I found out that I play much better with the dense pattern, so I've decided to stay with the IG Prestige Mid & MP.
BTW, why don't you just play with the POG mid? I have one myself. It's a bad *** of a racquet that also can do it all, too.

Because I know what type of gave he plays and what he has been looking for since getting back into the sport

Haven't tried the organix 10, but the pb10 mid is a nice stick. Plays really buttery and smooth and serves great in my opinion. A little
Lead (like 2 grams at the 10 and 2) and you're good to go. It swings quickly even with the lead there. Nice, plush frame for sure with good spin as well.

I used the PB10mid for a couple of seasons and demoed the Org10mid. It's pretty much a spot on comparison. My personal preference is for more of an old-school feel, so my loyalties lay with the PB10mid.

The vcore 89 is the best in this class

Used to play with the RDX-500 Midplus and RD-7 so Yonex racquets have a place in my heart....but 89 square inches....that seems pretty small (I know it's only a 2" x 2" difference from the Volkl's but still....:)

I've been around so long, going through so many demos and holy grails, they feel it's there duty to give me a hard time

Thanks for the comparison...really looking for a POG Mid with a more solid feel....hard to find without giving up that amazing whipability (I would guess my POG Mid's swingweight to be between 310 and 315).

Thanks for the link...until I read back through that review I didn't realize he compared the two so much.

Look forward to your opinion updates!

Thanks for the input on the PB10 Mid.

I've tried a couple of the Pacific racquets...they each seemed to have a disconnected feel to them...maybe these models would be different. They are giving some great prices on the Pacifics right now.

Love the whipability, spin, and control of the POG Mid but would like something with a bit more solid feel at net, offers bigger first serves, and a bit better stability.

Thanks for everyone's input.

They are same, just new paint job.

That's great to hear....I like the looks of the yellow/black better and it's cheaper :)

The review for the Organix 10 Mid seems to mention the lack of maneuverability from this racquet...does everyone agree with this assessment? 6 points headlight for an 11.8 ounce racquet seems a little low (feeling it should be more headlight) but the swingweight is less than the Power Bridge Mid 10...does the Organix 10 Mid play heavier (despite what the swingweights say) than the PB 10 Mid?

Considered taking a look at the Organix 10 325 but have read where it isn't as great in play as the the mids.

When I used the x10 mid, I loved it for every shot except serve for some reason and also my slice bh. And it was strung with full bed of cyclone. Amazing feel in my opinion and no lack of maneuverability at all.

I've been playing with the PB10Mid for about 2 years. Recently looking for something a little lighter and more forgiving.

Tried the Vcore 89, swingweight was too heavy compared to the PB10Mid.

Finally tried the 310g Vcore Tour 97 and liked it so much that I've switched. Swingweight is similar, didn't have to adjust too much to the Yonex.

My PB 10 Mid (2013) and Orx 10 Mid are 12.3 and 12.1 oz with some lead tapes, over grips, and dampeners.
I played both of them last night again and PB 10 is definitely better for maneuverability.
Contact me at stevenjsa@gmail.com if you want to buy one of my racquets with 4 3/8.
I am willing to keep only one from now.

Thanks for all your help and advice. I decided to demo the Power Bridge 10 Mid again (loved it when I demoed it a couple years ago) along with the Volkl Organix 10 325, Wilson Six.One 95S, and the Prince Classic Graphite 100.

Again, I appreciate all your input.

I disagree that they are the same, PB10 is more flexy with better feel.

Edit: I misread part of the thread. Old PB10 and new PB10 are the same, but different than O10 mid

"No maneuverability issue. It was designed to make-up for what a little lead at 2/10 did to fix the PB 10 Mid, which moves really quickly. The X10 Mid is also much stiffer and crisper, so it needs a little more behind it."
