Bad loss today but she seems to be taking it pretty well. A bit emotional here which confirms that she is a shy one and doesn't like the attention from being a superstar. Still, she'll have to get used to it bc it comes with being #1. Not a bad problem to have imo ;).

 
I feel like Naomi needs to take a break from looking at her social media.
I think she has read a lot of the reaction to her split from Sascha and as a young 21 year old, she is taking it way too personally and it's clouding her head.
Stuff seems to weigh heavy on Naomi and all this stuff adding to it isn't going to help her going forward.

Being world no 1 is another added pressure to everything else.
You know, it would be great for Naomi if a retired former world no 1 player reached out, privately, and for her to hear from someone who has lived it.
Maybe Steffi and Andre could adopt her for a few weeks before IW and Miami.

Another Serena's ex hitting partner is joining Osaka's camp, Jermaine Jenkins.

All of the people in Osaka's camp has been working with Serena at one point or another. Maybe Mouratoglou next lol.
 
There are so many other up & coming young players to be their hitting partner. Oh, but Naomi is No. 1 and he was working with No. 1's so there's the connection.

I think she doesn't travel with a coach and a hitting partner. She hits with Sacha unlike other WTA Pros that has hitting partner and a coach.
She likes them to play together with her.

That whole Tsitsipas-Osaka dialogue over twitter/insta, with Tsitsipas sharing the conversation presumably without permission and then claiming his accounts were hacked...

Yeah, that was weird. The actual conversation was cute tho.


Bad form from Stefanos if he is responsible for sharing DMs and even worse if the cover up story is a lie, no?

The RICHARD WILLIAMS MODEL TO FAME AND WEALTH--Step #1 : make babies; Step #2 : beg, and borrow your way to the top--Step #3 : move to Boca, and forget about the little people who got you there--what a country!--not sayin' it's easy, but it is a viable business model. Did the sisters go to school, or were they only schooled on the courts? I guess mom Osaka is on board with the results now--what a journey, from no dining room table to breakfast in bed!

I'm a little surprised Uniqlo didn't hit her up for endorsements. I guess they didn't have much left to offer after giving RF 300 M.

Uniqlo sponsored athletes (6) are all male. They have to create a sport line for women which they did not have.
Adam Scott sell their Polos and slack and their tennis athletes (Roger, Gordon, Singo and Kei) are all boost their sport lines.
They did featured ballerina Polina Semionova but they already has the Airism bra top and ultra stretch jeans for her to promote.

why don’t they throw some cash back to these coaches that invested in them for free when they were broke? remember where u came from

Uniqlo did try.

But we're talking about Nike here. If Nike badly wants a player then they can outbid anyone's offer. And have constantly done so in the past (like when they snatched Serena from Puma or McEnroe from Sergio Tacchini
