Over grip Turning Green

I use white Wilson Pro Overgrip and instead of the overgrip changing to a dirty brown color it changes to a dark green color. Not sure that this is necessarily a tennis question but hoping someone would know why this happens.

Do you sweat a lot or not allow the OG to dry out? Take a sniff cuz it might be an airborn fungus. I get frames to restring where the handle OG can be described with the term “It’s Alive!”

are the courts you play on green, and are they ni generally bad shape (eg. peeling, flaking, etc..)
i recall playing on some blue courts like that and my white grip would be tinted blue (but i used to change it daily).
(obviously this happens on red clay courts too :p)
