Over grips are nice, but a lot of them wear out in like 2-3 days and is completely useless and not tacky/absorbant at all. replacement grips seem to work well even after weeks and then are only 2X the price of overgrips. If you use the right replacement grip, i think it beats any overgrip by far. i mean, some replacement grips feels very good and have a lot more cushion than an overgrip. Although I use overgrip, so im kind of being a hypocrit but Im thinking about switching to a durable and comfortable replacement grip instead of spending 10 bucks on overgrips every month.5$ replacement grip can last just as long.

pros use overgrips since they get em for free and they can have brand new grips every day. but for us who dont intend to switch it everyday, i would think a replacement grip could last longer for the same quality and cheapter price.

I use Prince DuraTrac, the pattern looks like a car tire. It may last around 2 months and the tackiness is pretty consistant, until eventually it starts to slip and I just put on a new one.

The overgrips usually wear out too fast, and they are usually very tacky in the first couple of hours and start to get slippy very fast, so considering the maintenance factor and effectiveness, replacement grips make a lot of sense.
