TW,
Curious on the decision to not carry pacific products? Noticed on their site they still seem to be updating new frames etc.

Pacific has always had great strings (back in the day, McEnroe played with Pacific uncoated gut strings (and I have heard he used to drop off to-be-strung racquets from time to time with some very old and dry packs of it). Alas, I thought they we no longer distributing in the US (the website I found was in Germany). But yes, quality stuff by them.

I thought Mac used BDE gut. Maybe he used both at different times.

I know he used (and endorsed) Pacific Gut in the 80s--it was the yellow gut in his 200gs in the early-mid 80s. I also know later (at least by 2005 or so) he was using BDE. I suspect he is still using some sort of natural gut string.
