Pain in Shoulder When Serving

For the past year or so, I begin to experience a sharp pain throughout my shoulder (deltoid area). Its usually only after I've hit about 12-15 serves in pretty close succession. It will subside pretty quickly once it starts, but then starts up again when I start serving again. It's usually completely gone within thirty minutes of after I finish playing and its never sore or anything the next day. Any ideas on how to prevent this or ease the pain? Its not bad in quick service games, but its definitely a hinderance in longer games and I start to lose pace. Thanks!

Go get it checked out.

You probably have a rotator cuff problem.

We could talk about how to warm up the rotator cuffs and how to strengthen them, but you need to first get it checked out and do rehab if needed.
