Paint Job Question

If I do not sand, and just put primer on, and then spray on black paint, will there be a huge difference, or will it look somewhat like Verdasco's frame?
Also, if I do one coat of black, and I can see a bit of red and white from the Ncode under it, should I add more layers?

from personal experience, if you dont sand and just put primer, the paint comes off a lot more easily. and if you can still see the red and white, you should probably add another thin layer and let it dry. it's a painfully slow process at times, but well worth it in the end.
