This would be very, very surprising. You are suggesting Novak could double his Major total when he is already 27.
Sampras had just turned 24 when he reached his Major midway point. Federer was 25.

Just a reminder that Raonic still made the masters final by beating Federer and Berdych back to back. Murray and Nishikori couldnt take a set of this Djokovic. He's just too strong and playing too good a tennis for anyone to stop him right now, He's like a brick wall.

Its possible when you consider if Rafa doesn't return to top form.. Nole could win 3 or all 4 majors next year. Which wouldn't surprise me the least bit. Fed is gonna crash and burn soon.. And Murray's level is off. And a weak arsee field from this new generation.. Its very possible IMO

Djoker might end up holding the Masters record, but he's not getting anywhere near that many Slam titles. At the very best, he'll win around 11.
Also this is first big final for Raonic. What did you expect?! He was bound to lose today. And to add to that, Djoker is on a mission to confirm his YEN1.

I think Djokovic may have missed his chance to get towards a Sampras-like number by only winning 3 Majors from the last 3 seasons considering how great his overall form and consistency has been.
I'd say ending with 10-12 would seem like a realistic shout.
There was no Rafa around in 3 of the 4 Majors for Novak this year and he only won 1 of them (and that final went 5 sets).

Congrats to Djokovic and his fans. The best player in the world showing why he's the best. Crushing defeat for Raonic but he was not his best today but i dont think he's quite ready to take on prime Novak yet anyway.
Still glad he made the WTF tho, that'll be a good test with arguably 6 of the other players who will be in contention for slams in the next couple of years.
