PD Cortex power?

I use an AG 300 with a mulit string job at 63lbs. I can hit with fair power, but I feel the AG 300 is sapping me of power that I have had with my old LM Instinct. I get much better spin with the AG 300, but I had more power with the LM Instinct. I am thinking of getting another racquet that would give me more power. I have heard that the new PD Cortex is a real powerful racquet and is comfortable b/c of the Cortex. I tried the original PD and thought it was too stiff. Any advice on the PD Cortex as an alternative to add more power to my strokes? Thanks for advice that anyone can impart.

PD Cortex vs. nPro Open

Okay, I just tried the Cortex PD last night. It is a cannon! Spin production was very good, and it was surprisingly comfortable and muted. The racquet was very powerful. My only negative was that the PD Cortex felt a little heavy and unwieldy. I prefer a more head light balance and a little slower swingweight.

I tried the nPro Open a little while ago and it swings very nicely. Spin and feel was very good too. It does lack the same power as the PD Cortex though.

I'm not sure if the heavier swingweight of the PD Cortex is where the power comes from or if it is the Woofer system, but power none-the-less.

Yes, I tried the AG 300 at 58 lbs but found the string movement to be very pronounced at that tension. I did not notice a power increase either. I did feel that touch was better and spin was more pronounced, but as I said, with greater string movement.

i think the only strings that will make a big difference will be big bangers, but i think your power will improve as your timing with the racquet improves
