Peak Djokovic has been beaten by all 4.

Nadal beaten peak Djokovic at Queens 2008 when Djokovic already had a dominant 2008 Aussie and had back to back hc slam finals at that point. He also Beat peak HC Goat Djokovic at the 2010 US open who had himself started a run of 6 CONSECUTIVE HC slam finals which also included losing the 2013 US open finals to Nadal again. No excuse for a HC goat being 1>2 down in hc slams finals. Imagine Nadal being anywhere close to a losing slam h2h if there was a 2nd clay court slam lmao.

Injured April 2012-June 2014 Nadal (who didn't play for most parts of them seasons) destroyed Peak Djokovic (who himself reached 6 slams finals during this specific period across all surfaces) and won 6 out of 7 matches on multiple surfaces against Djokovic and won 4 slam matches in a row against him. Not even 2006-2010 Nadal.

Baby 20-21 year old Alcaraz beat peak Djokovic in the 2023 Wimbledon finals who was a defending 4 time consecutive Wimbledon Champion and in one of his best years ever.

THEN proceeded to Thrash Djokovic in the 2024 Wimbledon final who didn't drop a set until the 2024 finals and was in his 6th consecutive finals.

Slamless Sinner (who didn't until this year win 6 Masters in a row) destroyed Peak 2024 AO Djokovic who just had one of his best years ever and had won 4 of the last 4 Ao's he participated in. That included beating him in 5 times in a row including across All surfaces in slams where Djokovic would probably have won the slams without sinner and Alcaraz in the way.

30 year old Fed destroyed 2011 Fo PEAK Djokovic who was a run of 40+ wins? in a row across all surfaces

Then as a way past peak 31 yr old, Federer (outside of his 2003-2008 grass peak/prime) Destroyed the defending 2011 Wimbledon champion Djokovic, who was on a run of 5 of the last 6 slams finals. Pretty peak.

So Peak Djokovic has been beaten by not peak versions of Federer, Nadal, Sinner and Alcaraz? Sure.

But he beat their peak versions too when he wasn't at his peak.

What's the point, that if he isn't beaten by the absolute peak versions, then it shows how crap he is?

But then that is the same for the others also, so what are we getting at here OP?

At slams: Federer, Nadal

Alcaraz and Sinner didn't beat peak versions of Djokovic, unless by peak you mean peak vulturing.

mid07-mid14 was the strong era, excluding 2010... but inc 2010 US Open as that was a Djok v Nadal final.

I guess that means that The Big 3 + Sinneraz all suck and that McEnroe is the goat after all.

Its tells us Kunieda with 28 slams is greatest.
I never heard of this guy until you brought him up. I’m just looking at his achievements. And you are right. His resume destroys everybody else’s; despite the fact that he only played 3 majors a year for the first 10 years of his peak(Wimbledon wasn’t held for wheel chair tennis until 2016).

Here are some of his accomplishments in singles:

28 slam titles
11 AO titles
8 FO titles
8 USO titles
106-match winning streak
77-match winning streak
582 weeks at #1
3 gold medals
12 consecutive slam titles!

And guess what? We can say that he wasn’t ever at his peak because he was injured(paralyzed) the whole time. I.e, he NEVER lost at his peak.

He’s the goat! I will settle for McEnroe being #2.

Yep, Kuneida is the GOAT if there is such a thing.

As has been said, Alcaraz and Sinner have never even faced Peak Djokovic, let alone beaten him. They have of course faced playing at a good level but that's not the same thing.

sinneraz never played prime Novak.

Prime Novak was generally losing to Prime Nadal and usually had trouble with Fed in the slams until Fed was 31-32. This is true.

There was such a thing, but it caused a lot of problems, so it was removed.
Hm, I don't remember it. The old forum didn't have it, but I registered only in 2013. Was is before that year or my memory has faded? I do remember some "emoji" reactions though...

It was actually around 2018 2019 period, but it caused too many fights. As if there weren't enough already.

I can't remember the dislike button even though I joined in 2018. I didn't really use the forum too much in my first year so that might be why.

Peak Nadal in his best season lost to Ljubicic, Baghdatis and I forgot who else (garcia lopez?)

Peak Fraud lost twice to Canas, lost to pre puberty Murray and Gasquet

Then, I think you need to see this.....

Looks like new footage will be released.
I will definitely watch this when it arrives in the theaters. Yes, there is an addition to the original story, though it looks like it's all CGI. Regardless, seeing it is a must. :)

Hopefully it is not CGI, But yes, this needs to be seen.
Did you have a chance to see the original movie in the theater? I was just a kid and only watched it a bit later on VHS, but I would really love to witness the reaction of the audience when Unicron starts his transformation, I remember it left such a huge impression on me.

No, I didn't get to watch it, and probably a good thing. When I did watch it, I was traumatized by what I saw. Even today that shuttle scene doesn't sit well with me and I have seen this movie probably 100 times now.

Kids were crying in the theaters and parents were complaining to Hasbro for what they did to the characters and the impact it had on kids.

Lol, that was kind of expected. The franchise was never as brutal and extreme as the movie. I don't remember if we ever witnessed a death of a transformer (apart from the movie, of course).

EDIT: Soundwave and Blaster killed each other in an encounter, but that was the Japanese Season 4 (Headmasters).

To Hasbro it was just a toy commercial, but to kids it was a lot more than that. And it wasn't like they killed them off, they gave them brutal horrible deaths.

In fact some of the scenes were actually cut out of the movie because of their graphic nature. Like the scene with Ultra Magnus literally getting quartered by the sweeps.

That first third of the movie was not for kids.

Exactly, that was one of many.

I don't know why they went so hard on killing them in such a way.

There were stories of kids not leaving the rooms for days because Prime died and in the manner he died.

Plus, did you know that Unicron's music was some left over stuff from Rocky IV by Vince Dicola? Listen to Unicron's theme and then listen to Drago's theme before he comes to the ring to fight Rocky.

Voted No because how can we know what the peak/non-peak versions of Sinner and Alcaraz will be?

It might turn our their current incarnations represent their best - or maybe they'll get even better in the next few years.

Haha, didn't know that about the Rocky "influence", cool story. I know Unicron was the last official "role" of Orson Welles.

It makes sense that the impact on kids was so huge, back then people didn't have limitless content and sources of info/movies/music so the bond with the characters was way stronger than today. At least that's my impression.

Orson died a couple of days after he did the voice. He said to everyone that they will not direct him, they will not tell him how to say the lines, he will say them how feels they need to be said. LOL

The thing was Transformers was THE top thing back then, so when they saw their heroes get slaughtered it messed with their minds. I know how I felt and that feeling never left me.

Ridiculous, Djokovic has played every version of Federer and Nadal. Was that why Djokovic was declared GOAT?

"Reuters, Sports Illustrated, ESPN, Marca, Forbes, Tennis World USA, Australian Broadcasting Corporation, and Sporting News have named Djokovic the greatest male tennis player in history."

Even Marca, a Spanish newspaper, has declared this, not Federer and Nadal, but Djokovic was declared GOAT.

ultimattennisstatistics.com had two all-time surveys, on peak ELO rating and mental toughness, with both having Djokovic on top, befitting the GOAT. Nadal was rated 4th and 8th; Federer 5th and 12th.

Everything else was just sour grapes from Fedfans and Rafans. How sour it was, every day we have to answer at least one thread on this!

Fedfans especially, Federer couldn't make the matches stick, therefore now in retirement, Fedfans have to declare him the champion!
