I don’t think Shapo was injured either—this kid came out fearless and Shapo’s big advantage of being a lefty was neutralized since the opponent was lefty. The kid has had some other good wins as well and looks to be someone to look out for.

Shapo has at least changed coaches in an attempt to get better. FAA stubbornly keeps running back the same coach since turning pro who took Felix as far as he could years ago. For the last two years FAA has been treading water and instead of turning over every stone in an attempt to turn the corner, he seems perfectly fine with his plight into mediocrity. Pretty rare to see a player sabotage their career like this.

Just some things I have heard from people who worked with him and a friend of mine who literally got hit by a door because he was not paying attention and then walked away laughing with a freind.
