Hi all! I'm wondering if any of you lovely people on here has had any experience on upgrading the clamp bases on the penta premium 3600? I bought it with a wise 2086 tensioner, which is great, but I noticed the stock clamps provided weren't the best. So I upgraded the clamps, but I've always noted that the drawback of the clamp itself is a bit much (3mm or so), and frankly the tightening mechanism of the clamp base is a pain - I'd much rather one of those clamps that has a button/thumb push action to fix the clamp. So does anyone know of compatible replacement clamp bases that work with the 3600, and in your experience, does it improve the drawback (drawback = when you release the tensioner, how the clamp position moves back a bit - note: not the string slipping through the clamp teeth)? I'd be willing to buy new clamps too if needs be.
