I read that he was using a Pure Storm Ltd., which is a heavier frame with a slightly smaller head than the regular PS.

A LOT of lead. All over the 3 and 9 of the racquet, and I would assume under bumper and grip.

It is not as far fetched as some people might think. Sampras used Babolat strings his entire career so why not their racquets?
If Sampras played today, he would have used perhaps a Babolat or something like a Head prestige midsize which is a quality racquet for an all court player.

Sampras must still have a contract with Wilson if he's painting his Babo's black.
I remember seeing Rod Laver playing Dunlop Maxply Forts painted with what looked like a baby blue auto primer paint. A very strange look. I heard that he still had a contract with Chemold and had to conceal the make of the Dunlops in order to use them in public. Hahaha! As if . . .
