Pete Sampras Vibration Dampener

Well, I was reading the reviews for the pete sampras vibration dampener, and a lot of the reviews said that the black dampener is plastic and does not have as good as a feel as the red one. Does anybody know why that this is the case?

Probably because the black one is much stiffer than the red one.

when I ordered my all I got was 2 black ones. I've nevered tried the red ones. do they absorb more shock or something? I thought they were the same just different colors...
