Yes, and it makes things lopsided not to mention, heavily biased. If we did a research and dig some of the most liked posters, what are the chances of most of them being the fans of the same player? I think it was Sureshs who said that it's for the groupies. And for the ones who want to be liked very much.The likes are very biased towards supporting that player. In my honest opinion, but thats just the truth.
For example, the recent discussion that some of us had on the Sampras/Nadal thread which eventually got deleted, I have no doubt the other posts by the posters of the same player would have gotten many likes while others, even if you had made valid points, would have remained likeless. It's a completely and utterly biased tool that supports certain agendas.
When posters talk about excuses, we all know full well, no fanbase is above it.
Despite all that, there are some genuine effort no doubt but those are a few and an exception to the general notion around here.
