Petr Korda's Son

norcal

Legend
Sebastian, playing in the Oz Junior Final right now (ESPN 3). He is American (dad married an American?).

Nice looking player. Looks a lot like his dad but not as skinny and right handed.

His skills look like they could translate well to the pro game. Entertaining kid to watch. Loved watching his dad play.

Google says he's 17 and ranked 854.

He trains with Hana's kids in Bradenton along with the children of a couple of other pros. All will probably be college players before turning pro ... I think.

Petr Korda married a former WTA Czech player. I assume Sebastian was born in the US, so he's American.

If he wins the Brooklyn 250 he can play 5 singles for Stanford. Not saying they stack though.
korda should turn pro at this point. I think college tennis will set him back on his development. or maybe he can play for Duke or Columbia university, both East coast and get him into a good university that he can always go back to after his pro career is done. I think 1 year at Columbia or Duke will and could help him and make Columbia a team to be reckoned with.
