Here are some photos of my 3 different Dunlop Bio 300 Tour Prototypes, great looking rackets I think.

They are all exactly the same mold as the retail Dunlop Bio 300 Tour, only with different paintjobs!

Yes, they are all the same mold, even though the photo above might indicate differently.

I got them over a long period of time, one of them from someone at Dunlop about 2 years ago, and then I got the other 2 much more recently.

I see what you mean and think they are paint prototypes, but to be honest I don't know, they might be different underneath as well, but are all identical mold.

I think it is odd that the colours are so different to what the Bio 300Tour would become. Maybe they are testing different finishes in any colour? As one has matt paint, one gloss paint and the other metallic paint.

Also I notice you use the Bio Max200G, I think that's the best Dunlop racket in some time, I've been using it for doubles. It has a good weight behind it, which is unusual for Dunlop's lately.

I used to really like Dunlop rackets, but since the Aerogel line, about 8 years ago was it, I havn't really liked Dunlop rackets to play with, they've been too stiff and light for my game. There are some superb older Dunlops to play with though, and some of the newer paintjob designs look great!

Oh, and the reason I particularly like this racket, is actually due to the racket mold. It is the same racket mold as the Dunlop Pro Stock mold used by Haas, Blake, Ferriera, Pioline and Gimelstob at various points in their career. Obviously their rackets had custom layups, grips etc.

I wondered if they are Pro Stock, but no, I don't think so. As Dave said above, I think they are just testing the paint. But why they used such different colours is a mystery to me, still they look great I think at least!

the black/white is the bio 600 pj, the grey/yellow the bio 500 pj and the blue/white the never used bio 200 pj (decided to make it black/blue).

Cheers, they really are an unusual find I think, and being the 300Tour mold, like you one of the only Dunlop's I've liked to play with in the last few years, is what makes them so cool I think

I mentioned earlier I've actually been using the BioMax200G in doubles, and have been very impressed with it as well.

I liked the 300 tour but felt it's weight balance wasn't quite what i wanted, never gave the max much of a chance but i liked it's look,

I'm now determined to get my hands on a pair of those 300 tour's with the white and blue pj. It looks beautiful!

Someone said earlier that the Blue/White one was going to be the colour for the Bio200, but they decided on Blue/Black in the end.

The Black/White one is simlilar in paint colours to the Bio600.

The Yellow/Silver one is similar in paint colours to the Bio500Tour.

Cheers, I'm still hoping to find out why these were done like this. I've forgotten that I do know someone at Dunlop who will probably know the answer actually, so I will get in touch to find out, and report back here.

The White/Blue version actually looks better in hand than in the photos, it actually has a glossy finish which isn't showing up very well in the photos. The Black/White one has a nice matt paintjob, they look similar in the photos, but are actually completely different types of paint!

Have now got another Bio300Tour Prototype. I just tried to upload the photo but it doesn't work at the moment, image too large apparently, very annoying!

Anyway, it is mainly blue with some white and black, lovely matt paint, same pattern as the other 3, and has identical graphics and font as the black and white version, possibly the best looking of the lot. Also the photos don't show how great this racket looks in hand, and don't show the colours very well, in reality the blue is slightly darker.

Now it's only allowing these tiny photos, I don't know what's going on? Anyway, here we go.

Cheers, but in reality the racket actually looks much better. The photos are not very good, too small and the blue colour is wrong. The blue is slightly darker, with a very slight green tinge, it really does look amazing. The paintjob designs on these look superb!

Haha, yes this would be quite funny

All of these are very head heavy though, they are prototype samples it seems, so not really made to use. Although like the retail Bio300Tour, if you add silicon into the grip and some lead tape under the bumper, they would be great to use I should think!
