Pictures of your watches

Here are my watches ;)

I have a little Anne Klein that doesn't have any lines. So I can't tell the time - it's just for the style. Ironic.

I should get pics of my dads watches because he collects them. He has some breitling, petep philip, and other ones.

Nice watch, I am actually thinking of buying a Fossil soon. How are they anyways? I'm thinking of getting one of the Davis Cup models.
Fossil watches break like no tomorrow. My friend had three and all three broke within the course of a year, and she always took it off for tennis.

Really? I've had my watch for half a year and so far no problems, and I'm rather wreckless with it (like i just toss it on my bag on on the grass when i'm playing). keeps excellent time too. I'd definately reccomend it, the only problem is that it can be a little heavy at times.

FedererExpress~ Too much indoor tennis. Time to get some sun.... ;)

gmlasam~ You've got the Rolls Royce of racquets, strings, laptops, mp3 players, watches, guitars, etc............but stringer = Klipper Mate?!?!?!?!? :o Where's the Babolat Sensor? and what's with the ball machine? Where's SAM?

I've had mine for over 5 years, and I LITERALLY throw it around. It's one of those metal ones with no #'s and second hand. The crystal is all scratched up but it still ticks and tocks.

I have an Oakley Detonator, and an Oakley D1. I don't have pics of them, unless you want to see tennis pics of me, where you can kinda see them...kinda...

I keep my watch next to my hourglass, havent worn it in years, but pretty. Its an old wittnauer (sp) with a blue face.

I got another watch coming in. It's another cheap one that some watch purists may disapprove of, but I like the look of it. Alexander James NDR001 White. The guy is known for modding Seiko watches. Can take a pic of it on my wrist when it arrives. Realized an expensive timepiece just isn't worth it for me. Gotta try and grow capital while buying little things when I get miserably bored.

I am in 20 year waiting list for a Patek Philippe.
I have estimated that time to collect the money, and the authorization to buy it.

Patek Philippe has slipped, and now is holding its #1 position in part to them holding their secondary market value better than their main competition (and for that there are informations that they themselves have been bidding at auctions to keep the prices up) so you might want to get off that list.

So who is the real #1? AP? I bet it’s AP. That Royal Oak man, it don’t get much better.

If I were out of PP list, I’d probably choose a smaller house, as Voutilainen or AkriviA (which now goes by Rexhep Rexhepi name).

I like both.
Voutilainen also has waiting lists anyway. I believe they first take your order, and then manufacture your watch.

It depends. He has done series in the past. Whether they are all sold out by the time they are ready is a different matter, but not only unique one offs, no.

I meant to say that Voutilainen is not an alternative to PP: artisanal watches vs industrial production watches. If one likes PP then a talk about what else is there is irrelevant anyway.

I like both alternatives, can’t I? Each for their own merits.
Now, if I were to buy, the resources are limited.

Love this thread. Pretty attached to a few of mine and will post some here.

Have been wearing my Milgaus as main watch for a while now:

I also own a FOIS Speedy because I love the tool watch factor it has going and it sits wonderfully on my wrist:

My vintage Seamaster:

Have my PAM90 I sometimes like to wear when I am feeling a bit loud and obnoxious. Not my wife's favorite:

Have a Montblanc Timewalker Chrono that is also one of my prized possessions:

A couple of vintage Walthams for casual wear every now and then:

Also have 18K Yellow Gold Breguet Type XX Transatlantique my dad used regularly but gave to me once I finished my doctorate. I don't wear it a lot but one of my favorites too:

I also own a Snoopy Omega but that is practically brand new and in my locker. The prices for those have shot up considerably and I'm glad I got one for retail.

Eyeing the 124060 next once the Sub market settles a bit.

Here is my current daily wearer. Soon to be replaced by Alexander James NDR001. Also, that shirt sleeve is from a shirt I bought from this site. A Fila shirt. It has some pizazz.

Those are some snazzy watches you got there. Milgauss is sweet.
