Pim-Pim's Blacked Out Racquet + Fred Perry Gear

Looks like Pim-Pim is sporting a blacked out stick in his win today over Pete Luczak at the If Stockholm Open. It's most likely his old RDX500 mid 18x20, but its possible that his contract ended because he doesn't seem to be rocking the Yonex stencil either. Also, seems that Fred Perry picked up a new guys. Good for them.

I hope Fred Perry signs more players and gets more adventurous with their clothes. They look so plain on him and Andy Murray.

He's still wearing his Yonex SHT shoes there. Just the other week in Kuala Lumpur he was in Yonex from head to toe.

Maybe it's an experimental from Yonex... new racquet coming out, perhaps? RDiS 002 Tour?

nah, if it was an experimental, the Yonex stencil would be on there. He's obviously lost his contract with them, wether he dropped them or they dropped him, probably the latter since he's still obviously using a Yonex frame, you can see from the head shape. Probably spray painted it himself before the tournament. :P

He's still using Yonex shoes, probably b/c he has no shoe sponsorship

Yonex needs to drop Ivanavic already! She's wasting my time and her racquet isn't any different from the RQiS 1 Tour that I use.

No, they don't.

They are simple, elegant and fitted. Murray's retro Wimbledon clothes and his bright blue polo at the US Open are some of the nicest i've seen in a long time.

The Adidas leopard print designs made out of clingy, shiny material don't do it for me at all.

I couldnt agree more. Fred Perry is making some nice clothes.

On his own (very good) blog, Pim Pim said he was delighted that he got his first sponsor-contract in 2 years time as Fred Perry signed him. He said it was also 2 years ago since his racket-contract expired and therefor he plays with a blacked out Yonex frame.
