i think im going to do mostly black with a little bit of red (like the red in teh fxp prestige) but i need some sort of design...

I love Neon and Orange combination. very lovely color. and Also if you can mix in Yellow and white as well somehow, that would be even better. and also add some glitter to flash in your opponent's eyes to distract him.

Are there any cars out there that you really like the paint on? Maybe a pearl or something. There are places online to order a spray can of just about any paint code ever made. I personally am thinking about Black Cherry Mica from Mazda. It's varies from black to brown to red depening on light with gold flecks. Kinda like the Prestige Classic taken up a notch.

I'm thinking about doing the same thing with one of my old Tour 8s that I accidentally stepped on at the back fence while retrieving a ball. I had it standing up against the fence waiting to try out some new strings on it and it fell on the ground when a ball hit the fence. I went back to retrieve a lob and stepped on it and it skidded across the pavement and left a pretty good size scrape on it.
I've thought about sanding it down and painting it all black. Maybe put "Experimental" on it or something kinda like prince did with the graphite a few years back.
This alone should freak my opponents out. But then again, probably not. But hopefully it'll look kinda cool. I don't really use it anymore since I have so many of them so why not?

Ill put up pictures and how i did it and everything once i do it.....it might be a while as i still have to figure out all the materials i need, decide my color(s), and im going to try it out an old racket first...im thinking i want the racket mostly black and maybe some fxp prestige red or some other color but i dont know where i want to put that....i dont want the company name or brand on it because i want it to look mysterious
im still taking suggestions on secondary colors and if anyone has any design options they'd be greatly appreciatedthanks for all your help everyone

Post up some pics if you try it out. I've been thinking of doing a basecoat then putting a couple pinstripes around the hoop and then clearing it. Just trying to decide on colors.

Yellow, Black, and Red.
The black will be the base, with red outlines, framing the black (this is where you can take some artistic liberties). The yellow will be for accents, for instance, where the red meets black, or a stripe on the sides, or the four corners, etc.
I, personally, would make red arrows (not like the normal --> kind, but the arrowhead type of arrows) pointing up and down on both sides, meeting in the middles. The throat has stripes going up, also thinning to form points (a lot like the RQiS's stripes) The yellow would start from the tips of the arrows (all of them) and fade as they cover their lengths.

wow that was very detailed im gonna have to like draw a picture to understand all of that haha but thanks ill look into it...since the red im most likely gonna use is kindof darker...do u think i could replace the yellow with dark blue??
You don't need to ask me that, it's your choice. It's just what i visualized. Yeah, you could use dark blue, but then you wouldn't really see it, and it wouldn't accent the arrows. Oh, well, it's your decision. Or you could take a page out of Yonex's book and accent it with silver.

i have decided to black as the base color, prestige red as the secondary color, and a dark blue as the accent color. Im not exactly sure how im going to do the design yet but im going to do a practice racket so i guess i'll figre it out. Once i do my main racket i will post pictures. Again thanks for all your help.
