Plans to add a Padel section to the forums?

This was from my 3rd time playing Padel. Now, I've played about 6 or 7 times total and I am much more accustomed to using the back glass. I too would like to see a Forum Section about Padel. I plan to be playing Padel twice a month this year.

Are you also starting a new journey learning about the padel equipment? I'm new to the sport, and looking for a padel racquet that is a good all-around racquet, and good for players who have a tennis background.

I've done some research about Padel rackets. Again, it depends on your whereabouts. In Europe there are many options to buy from, whithin Europe or from China. It's the complete opposite situation compared to Pickleball gear, where being in the USA one has much more options.

I have seen that Kuikma has some good entry level padel rackets around 80-100€. I'll see what i can get my hands on this year. First, i have to be sure people won't have issues being on my clips (i can always blur them out).

We are starting to flesh out our Padel Warehouse learning center and website, feel free to peruse some of our introductory content for this exciting game! https://www.padelwarehouse.com/learning_center/padel/

I would recommend starting off with a round-shaped padel racket in the medium weight range, maybe like 350-360 grams. Personally, I really like the Counter series from Babolat and the Wall Masters from Tecnifibre.

Got my first Padel racket today. Maybe, I'll play this weekend.

Lob you opponents then move forward and volley into the corners.
This is a clip from about a month ago. I've played one more time in which I have to say my level (somehow) had been much higher.
I'm serving MUCH better mixing things up with side spin and depth.
I'm volleying more accurately.
Most importantly (not shown in this clip), I'm always making sure I'm having my ready positing set as early as possible, holding the padel racket upright with my off-hand. This helps a ton timing the incoming pace better and thus being able to place my next ball more accurately.
I'll be recording more matches in the following weeks, as Padel will be in my weekly schedule to try and be playing once a week, mainly on weekends.

Played 1.5 hours of Padel two weeks ago with my cousin as my partner. That was the best padel I've played so far on all levels.

Today, I played another 1.5+ hours of Padel. Honestly, I didn't feel tired at all. Maybe it was the weather conditions that were excellent for some outdoor activity: overcast and perfect temperature.

My partner was one of my usual tennis hitting partner that plays tennis at a very high level, so volleys and blocks in Padel come very natural to him and executes them much better than me. Where I feel I am better than him and my cousin is the use of the glass, ball placement, returning fast and low serves early and slowing down the pace.

Today, our ""opponents"" were some decent beginners, so the level was not ideal for me, but I took this opportunity to see how much can I limit unforced errors.

Played my best "matched" session of Padel today. Had a great time. Lost 1-2. I played a horrible 2nd set, lazy footwork and wrong placement on the court. But, got really locked-in for that final 3rd set and we got it 6-4.
All in all, I'm enjoying Padel much more than Tennis, no question about it. I plan on playing Padel on a more regular basis from now on. Tennis is getting a back seat (already there this past 1.5 years). Tennis will be mostly about hitting groundstrokes and some drilling and most importantly, the availability of free-of-charge municipal courts.
So, not abandoning tennis, but I'm picking Padel over tennis for the fact that I'm just having much more fun playing it, it's something new (like a new classmate), so it's interesting to get to know it even more.
Unfortunately, Pickleball is not a thing here yet. I'll see if I can manage to play Pickleball tomorrow.
