Has anyone currently using a Platform serve stance switched over to a Pinpoint? If so, did you find it was more advantageous and/or more difficult to switch?
I'm in the same boat. gave it a try, found it easier to gain height with leg drive from pinpoint. Downside of pinpoint is lack of stability when my toss is off. I'll probably slowly switch after improving my toss.

I did... I taped myself while training the serve once and realized I had a slight toe drag anyway and my weight was shifting too far toward my front foot. Just leaning into the drag and better timing the weight shift really helped me with proper balance and increased both pace and control. Because of this, for me it was a pretty simple switch.
I started with a pinpoint and I switched to a platform and then went back to a pinpoint. For me A pinpoint feels smoother and I feel like I can get deeper into my knee bend and drive with my legs better. However, my foot faults are definitely worse with a pinpoint

I also started with pinpoint, but tried platform for a bit since everyone around me was telling me to try it. Went back to pinpoint not long after, since I've just gotten so used to the motion and the rhythm. Foot faults are always something to think about, but I always try to stand a bit further back from the baseline to give some leeway for the sliding motion.
