Yes- nTour has PWS which is easy to identify.

There is an Ultra Tour 100 - it has PWSDoes anyone have a side by side picture of
Steam 100 16x20 and nTour 95 16x20
Also does Wilson have an Ultra Tour 100 16x20 pro stock? If so, I would also be interested in side by side pictures. Wilson no longer has the white base grommets so the Steam 100 will not be as obvious. I am trying to identify unique aspects to differentiate from other 16 X 20 Wilson racquets.
Cool- thanks for the pics. There is an Ultra Tour 100 - it has PWS
pretty different to the Steam 100
> No, Sakkari uses the old Pro Open.Cool- thanks for the pics.
Does Sakkari use the Ultra tour 100 16x20?
Also does Wilson make a 97 and 100 for Ultra Tour? The 97 is an 18x20 (I think)
Maybe the 100 is 16x20 and only pro stock….not available to consumers.

Do you have a pic? Could it be yellow, due to just yellowing from age?Juste a question i ask to know if it's possible to have 4 yellow grommet instead of the 4 white grommet, because i have two with yellow and two with white? Are they fake with the 4 yellow grommet?
I put the two yellow and the two white bellow the two yelllow, i'm bought them in europe.Do you have a pic? Could it be yellow, due to just yellowing from age?
My only thought it, it could have potentially changed color from ageing. But the amount of yellowing is quite extreme, so that is very surprising. I don't believe there was an alternate version of the racket, that came with those colored grommets.I put the two yellow and the two white bellow the two yelllow, i'm bought them in europe.
I agree with this post- unfortunately I think that could be just from age but does look significantly yellowMy only thought it, it could have potentially changed color from ageing. How is the racquet playing? I have the opportunity to buy three of them in the same PJ but I’ve never played with a Steam 100. I’m coming from a Blade 98, been using every iteration for most of my tennis career. Could you give me a short overview of how it plays? It would help me make a decision to pull the trigger or not. I’d normally just get the V9 98 or 100, but I want that shiny paint lol I was about to get a K Blade in the shiny V9 paint but I’m having trouble finding 4 1/4. Thanks!
Just got my hands on the V9 paintjob of the Steam 100. You can see the pro stock buttcap. This version had specs printed in the throat, but the string pattern is missing. I took a pic of the paintjob in the sun, and it is absolutely magnificent. It's a shame the retail V9 Blades game with the unappealing flat pj.
Similar to the retail pj, the red W and the BLADE words are Embossed, so you can feel it in the hand.
Strung weight without OG was 321g. I didnt get a chance to measure other specs yet.
This is the first time i've actually held a Steam 100 in hand. From pictures, I had always thought the Steam 100 and Blade 98 had similar features, similar beams. But with the Steam 100 in hand, I could tell it is significantly thicker, bigger head size, and there are differences in the beam shape.
I haven't gotten to hit much with it yet. The first thing I noticed when hitting with it stock is, it is quite light in weight. I have added a little bit of lead at 12,3 & 9, but I dont feel ive added enough. The string pattern is quite open for a 16x20, so you get good access to spin. I feel it has more power than a Blade 98, but less control. It also felt like it had a bigger sweetspot than the Blade. These thoughts are only from hitting about 30 mins unfortunately, and with the old strings that it originally came with from the previous owner. I haven't had the chance to restring it with a tighter string. How is the racquet playing? I have the opportunity to buy three of them in the same PJ but I’ve never played with a Steam 100. Yes this is the Steam 99Ashlyn Krueger is using a 16x18 racquet painted like a Blade V9. Could this also be a Steam, similar to Kostyuk?
Have you had more time on court with the pro stock version of the Steam yet? I think I’m about to pull the trigger but just a big investment to buy three blind. @Charlie Mewborne - just curious where you found 3 pro stocks-Have you had more time on court with the pro stock version of the Steam yet? I think I’m about to pull the trigger but just a big investment to buy three blind. Any other insight would be great, thanks!
I’ve been a Blade user for most of my adult life. I’ve demoed every racquet out there in the last 7 years or so and made short switches (TF40, E Zone, Radical, Gravity) but never for longer than a few months before going back to my Blades. Using Blade V8 98 right now (been demoing the last couple months), but as I’m getting older I don’t always bring 100 percent physically to the courts every time I play now, so I’m looking for something similar to a Blade but with slightly more power and spin while keeping the control aspect. I’ve got a few sources I’ve met through the years online that can get pro stocks. I play more doubles these days and I’m around a 5.5 level wise. I would just go to the Blade V9 but I want to see if there’s something similar that will help me when I’m not physically 100 percent. I tried the V9 100 but the head shape was really weird. If you’re looking for pro stocks, check E Bay or Pro Stock Tennis online. Messaging people on E Bay also is a good way to get contacts when they’re selling pro stocks.@Charlie Mewborne - just curious where you found 3 pro stocks-
What racquet are you currently using?
Yeah, i've hit with it more recently, and I think there are good aspects about the racket. I had to add quite a bit of lead to it at 12, and also 3&9. The stock weight came in under 300g, SW approx 283 (not an exact measurement). If you are a current Blade user, I feel there are certain benefits in the power and spin category, with drawbacks being a slight loss in control. The racket is quite maneuverable, so that will help in doubles. Being at the 5.5 level, you will definitely need to mod the racket more to your specs. I cant say if this will absolutely work for you, but its worth a try. I guess the interesting thing to note is we do not see any ATP players using this racket, as its being exclusively used by WTA players. I think the lower static weight, along with the headsize, make it a good platform racket for womens players.Have you had more time on court with the pro stock version of the Steam yet? I wanted to add some additional info regarding the head guard. The grommet set has the 2 lime green inserts art 2&10, but the headguard strip is NOT like the Blade V9, it is a regular bumper strip. So if you want to add lead under the headguard, the grommet will need to me removed from the holes and carefully put back afterwards. That was a little pain in the @$$

She has switched to a 16x19 since Jan 2023, dunno about the moldSvitolina using a 16 X 19 string pattern yesterday. Anyone know if this is a new racquet or a modified Steam? She previously was a steam user under blade paint.

Mladenovic was using the P25 same as Coric (who switched to the Blade recently as well) I believeLooks like Kiki Mladenovic is using the steam now and moved away from the Ultra?

price new around 100 $. used but in good condition between 50 and 60I have a steam 100, almost new. Can anybody tell me the actual value? I need to sell it. Thanks a lot!
Post like this really makes me doubt the need for heavy racquets for most recreational players. I've migrated from clash 100 to weighted gravity pro and down to aero 98 now. I suspect I will be using something like steam 100 in a few years as my game develops more.I’ve been a Blade user for most of my adult life. I’ll admit I haven’t used the Blade 98 or any of the Pro Staff line other than a tiny bit of testing of the X but I’ve had no issues with volleys with my Pro Stock Steam 100. I play only doubles and racquet has been great at the net.I now have a Steam 100 Pro stock. It's a fantastic racquet for hitting groundstrokes. Good control, easy depth, and balls just "stay in." Can totally see why WTA players would love it. However, as you transition across the service line and move forward, it is definitely inferior to a Blade 98 or PS97 or RF97A for volleys and half-volleys. Just not the same feel or control for volleys as there is for groundstrokes. It has that Steam "spongy" sensation on volleys that I remember from the retail Stem racquets. Not the crisp control of a Blade or ProStaff when moving forward. That said, there is enough control to use it to knock off volleys, and it's a pretty superior racquet for groundstrokes. Definitely see this as a racquet with a more singles focused response. Great frame. Not sure it's something that I would use as my main racquet, though. Will continue playing with it.
I have a retail Wilson Steam 100 , and I want to find a pro stock Steam 100 to hit them side by sideI have a brand new wilson steam 99 with burn 100 paintjob. Now I need to get a Simona Halep autograph on it (I'm romanian and I hope Halep will participate in smaller tournaments in Romania before she retires).
They already released Steam 99 as a Blade Team in two different weights. I have a v6 cosmetic Blade Team that is the 300g version. I think they also released it in a slightly stiffer 290g version but I can't recall at the moment. I am going to get it and my prostock Steam 99 restrung with the same string and tension and see how they do against my retail v8 Blade 98's with the same strings (with tension adjusted for string pattern and headsize). Should be fun. This is a very versatile racquet that should work for many rec players. Not sure why Wilson has to hide it under blade PJ.
