As mentioned above Krajicek switched form Pro Staff Classic 6.1 95 to Yonex Super RD Tour 90.
Kent Carlson went from Prince Boron Oversize to Völkl midsize Pro T something I can’t remember now.
Vince Van Patton went from Prince Graphite Oversize to Yonex R-10
Andrea Temisvari went from various Prince Oversize racquets to the HEAD Prestige 600

That's crazy! I know when I used the Prostaff 95in in college it was a perfect balance and felt great. I couldn't imagine anyone using the 90in PS.... and here he's using an 88?!?!

Serena and Venus both used to use about a 110 square inch racquet years ago. They both went to 104's, and then Serena went to 102 in the last year and a half.

on tv it didnt look smaller. I think he switched from the Pete Sampras 85 pro staff wilson model to a > 90 yonex with extended handle.
I only know of Chang who went from an oversize Prince to a Babolat pure drive, probably for some extra power in his later career. But he didntget any better results.

I have both racquets, you need a side by side picture from both? Even SE's 6.0 85 painted like a 6.1 is noticeable different.

i dont think you know what a conspiracy is. When Kraichek played Sampras on Wimbledon they were clearly using the same racquet model. so you stop you no its a paintjob conspiracy.

Well, Sampras playing with Yonex would be a new one, at least form me - because RK never played with 6.0 mid on the tour. He did played with Sampras KPS 88 in the senior tour

Wel now you admit it yourself Richard played with the smaller 88 head. If he did it on senior tour than he did it on the mens tour before also. I did not write Pete played with a yonex. I only remember Pete and Richard playing with the same racquet model. Probably not on Wimbledon when richard switched to a > 90 head yonex but before. Maybe it was on US open the year before?

Correct, this is a SRD Tour 90 with RD Ti 88 paintjob. 2002 he switched in real to the RD Ti 88.

I meant that you should probably not bother with him. He's really not worth the trouble. Aside from exceptionally poor grammar and spelling, his posts are usually nonsensical...almost on par with the 'Ace of Fed' (aka Fedace, aka Nostradamus).

The other thing is that the 88 could been bigger than the 90. Who knows...
Pure Drive is slightly bigger than 100. But why they named it 100? Because many players would not buy it as a 102.
Head racquets have that "head size problem" too, as you probably know
I have a kps 88 and an N-Code 90, they seem to be the same size once compared, probably they didn't want to call both a 90 sq.i.

Didn't Seles start with various regular OS (107-110) frames (Prince, then Yonex) and then used that super OS Yonex for a while (125-130?) and then went back to a "regular" OS later in her career.
This probably isn't what most people are thinking of since her frames were always OS or bigger (I think), but it fits the criteria of going to a smaller frame later.
