Good stats!Thank you again for the excellent job!!And only 4 have won GSs after the age of 28 that is Fed now.

So, basically it's either

1. all-time greats like Pete and Roger
2. lesser greats who were fitness freaks like Lendl and Agassi

and Edberg, Boris, and Connors.

It's VERY, VERY difficult.

Yup, it is.

Also, these numbers show that the Australian Open is, by far the easiest Slam for older players to win since it comes at the start of the season.

Agassi's last 3 Slams were Down Under
Lendl's last 2 Slams were at the AO
Ditto for Becker and Vilas.

Or maybe that it's just a surface that the players like more.

So Laver's Grand Slam titles after age 25 don't count on your list because he started his career before the Open era? Doesn't make sense to me.

Roger turned 26 in August 2007 and wimby 07 was in july so technically it should be 4 slams for him after he turned 26.

at first glance i thougt this thread was interesting. it would be a maiden one from Jenny..

but the last sentence had to make this the usual crap on how roger is impressive, amazing, godlike...

how many more twists can you give it only the gods know...

Huh? The last sentence just says that her list shows how hard it is to win Slams after the age of 26. I don't see any ajectives like "godlike" in there.

I rounded his age up since his birthday was just a month away. I did the same for Sampras for all of his Wimbledon titles (since his birthday was just one month after the tournament).

That last sentence was my signature, but I've since changed it.
