Hello, I am a sophomore currently at a division 3 university. I am interested in studying abroad in the fall of 2013. Does anyone have any experience of know anybody who has studied abroad and played for the tennis team? I am still unsure of where I want to travel to, but I only speak english so it would have to either be an english speaking country or a program taught in english. thanks for the help in advance

Most universities outside the USA do not have tennis teams. Occasionally, there is a rowing club or football (soccer) club team, but students go there to study, not play sports semi-professionally.

I live in The Netherlands and over here there are clubs where you will have to pay a membership fee in order to play at the courts.

At some places you can rent a court for a small amount of money.

I am going to play in a league next season with a team but this isn't university vs university. We will have to play against other clubs.

Besides those leagues there are tournaments for members of the Dutch Tennis Federation.
