Hey guys, if you have played on a playsight court and have your data please share it.

Also be sure to add if you are a man, woman, junior, playing level and game style.

Example:

46 year old guy, 4.0 level player, big serve for my level and mostly slice my backhand.

Thanks! Let's get a database of ranges and averages for serve and groundstroke speeds and rpms.

We are supposed to be getting a court in the next year. So keep this thread going and I'll add my data eventually. Looking forward to getting an accurate reading on my 60 mph serve.

Nice stats, very high 1st serve %.

Im suprized your top backhand speed is a whooping 10mph slower than forehand tho, from your vids it seemed like you could rip the backhand quite well.

Also great thread @J011yroger

Wish I could add stats too but we don't have playsight here in our country, cuz we s*ck.

I think my backhand is the more consistent groundstroke but I can hit the ball much harder and hit more winners on the forehand side.

This data is from a match I played in June this year. For what its worth, I was hitting serves at the USTA Campus in Orlando a few weeks ago and I'm not feeling very confident about the numbers. I hit some absolute ducks that read high and some pretty speedy ones that read low. I would really like to see a comparison of Playsight and Hawkeye numbers. Right now I don't really trust them.

Will be at the National Campus for Nationals and I'm going to play on a playsight court. How would it determine who out of 4 people, and what's the cost?

Doesn't cost anything extra. Just make an account ahead of time. In singles you just have to indicate what side you're on, not sure about doubles.

Thanks so I just register a playsight account on their website, is it first come first serve or can I book one at the usta center?

You can book it on their website, not all hard courts have playsight. Also, they took down the cameras for the hurricane and not all the playsight courts were working when I was there two weeks ago. I would call to confirm you will actually have playsight.

I would also suggest you greatly reduce your expectations for this technology. I think the most useful part is having your match recorded. The numbers and stats are very questionable. See my Pete Sampras second serve above for reference.
