PlaySight video of 18+ 3.5 Men's Nationals match

I recently played at 18+ 3.5 Men's Nationals in Orlando, where the courts were equipped with PlaySight cameras. Here is 18 minutes of footage (first four games, plus second set TB) of a match between me (wearing all black; TennisRecord* rating of 3.45 before the match) and my partner (gray shorts; 3.34) vs. a 3.93 (wearing all white)/3.29 (wearing black shorts) pair. It was some ugly tennis on my part, lots of lobbing and slicing and dinking. But we won 6-2, 7-6. Evidently that's good enough to win at 3.5 Nationals, ha.

You had to record the match against my team..hehe. It was a good match..you guys played smart, nice tactics. It's cool that I can get a different angle from how I played in the adjacent court. And again, congrats on you winning 40+ nationals.

A few thoughts:
1) Its tragic that you had to play Nationals on a court with pickleball lines all over it. That would totally screw me up.
2) Why do pickleballers need a play sight court? Need to get a reading on the spin of their slice dinks?
3) So did Play Sight tell you how fast you were serving or only call lines?

I prob don't know how to use PlaySight properly (first time capturing video) and didn't enter the right settings....it didn't give me any data from the match.

Not sure these courts had the ability to get serve speed, spin, etc. I think only the collegiate courts did that..cuz they had more cameras per court. I could be wrong but I didn't remember any settings when I recorded all my matches.

Playsight does not work with doubles. It can make line calls but that's it. Great match and great win for leech and his team!

That's a pretty standard, good 3.5 match really. You see the variety of things that needs to be improved and the things that happen well to make the match. Thanks for posting.
