I just bought a PS Tour 90 from here on TT. Can someone tell me if it is an authentic Wilson product? The reason I am asking is that it is different from the matched pair I have.

Here is some info:

------------------------This racquet -------------------My racquets

Strung weight --------12.05oz (342 gram) ------------12.51oz (355 gram)
Balance ----------------3 pts HL (strung)------------- 9 pts HL (strung)
Butt Cap ---------------With trap door -------------- no trap door

Sepecs printing are arranged totally different from those two I have.

This racquet has tension, length, weight, headsize, balance, pattern, Si6.0 all printed on the racquet.

My racquet only has tension range, headsize and powver level 107 printed.

The racquets have a weight labled as 12.0 oz and Balance 30.5cm/11.9 pts HL (that acurate???)

I believe Wilson has made quite a few batches but the 0.5 OZ off the mark? Could it be the Asian version? The specs does look like the asian version of ncode 6.1 tour 90 though. I believe some of you guys have purchased ps tour 90 from Wilson authorized dealers. Your sharing of information is highly appreciated!

Maybe it is Wilson's quality control problem again!

hmmm...any way you can take a picture of the throat?

I will post some pictures later.

I have read some posts here about the bad quality control of Wilson racquets. I guess 15 gram off is within their marginal error. It is easy to fix though. I just put lead tape on the handle under the leather grip and now all my three racquets are matched. I just need to string it up with my favorite string and see if it feels the same as the two I had.

I have 2 tour 90 racquets purchased from authorized Wilson dealer in Canada. One is 349g and the other is 350g, both are strung weight. Both sticks are equally balanced. I have purchased a pair of ncode 90's from them a year before, from the same place and they both are at 358g and 360g, and are equally balanced. I have read that that the spec range for both of these racquets should be no lower then 354g and no higher then 361g (strung.) Mine are a touch lower then the manufactures tollerance range, but the racquets play and feel nice. Also, my tour 90's are more head light then the n90's by a .25 inch.

Tour 90 throat specs (my racquets)
-tension 50-60
-lenght 27in.
-weight 340g
-headsize 90
-balance 11.9 HL
-pattern 16x19
-s.i. 6.0
-grey box: inside containing the specs. I have seen pictures with a red box.

After weighing my tour 90's i was also wondering if I had been given asian models in stead of the heavier us model, but I was assurred by Wilson of Canada that the shipment of raquets that were given to reseller from whom I purchased the racquets from are US models.

I will post pictures later tonight.

I know I may get blasted for this, bringing this topic from the dead, but I was wondering if someone could help me answer the question of the OP. I'm actually looking at a Pro Staff Tour 90 on the big auction site that has the same throat specs as the one in the picture. It's different from the one I own, which has the red and power level. Can someone (maybe BreakPoint?) let me know if the one in the picture above is actually the Asian version? Or is this just a paint job for a newer paint job? Specs are different than the one I own it seems. Any help is appreciated.

PS: I've been digging up old threads on this racquet but I haven't found anything about them being the same racquet.
