When is a half decent shoe coming out?

Not the 2018 barricade made in a different color. Or the sole court boost shoe but with a clay outsole since 95 percent of us don’t have access to clay. Or the courtjam shoe that will break in 2 days and you’ll probably roll your ankle. You use to be a legit contender with Nike and ASICS now you’re not adidas. The new barricades better not have adidas written in the biggest writing ever.

Am I the only one thinking this ? I love the brand but they’ve dropped the ball so hard. Nike and a lot of other brands have a much better selection.

and don’t get me started on their new tennis apparel that looks like soccer jerseys.

their older apparel designs do look better. I will still take adidas over nike. Asics shoes better than either though.
edit: I do like the new adidas fabric tech they are way nicer than before.

Yep older apparel looks better. Recently no new performance shoe. They’ve brought back barricades but those edition of barricades weren’t great.

the options for a good performance shoe are slim to none. They have the ubersonic shoe that is a good one but it wears out quick. They want to bring out a new barricade but because it’s been so long with them having a performance shoe everyone has found a new brand. From a long time adidas lover I can say RIP to someone who spends more than $1,000 a year on their gear

The Barricades had a big share of the performance tennis shoe market with a dedicated base and then they made probably one of the biggest blunders ever! I cannot complain too much to be honest as this lead to me finding a better (and less expensive) alternative for my feet in my opinion. The Asics Gel Challenger 12's

Yeah they are done. You can’t go 2.5 years without putting out a new shoe.
