Pog100 string job

I used to play with a pog os and strung it with msv co-focus at 48 mains and alpha gut 2k at 52 crosses. That string job served me really well and I recently demoed and switched to the pog 100. This racket has been strung with prince premier control at 58 in a full bed. I was wanting to try the old string job in the new frame but was wondering should I stay at the old tension of 48/52 or go lower because it is a smaller frame? Anybody have any thoughts? I was just going to try it but I figured this forum has always been very informative, so I haven't strung it yet.

I used to play with the POG100 because it's just a gorgeous racquet. I used focus hex mains usually in mid 50 and the cross somewhere a little over or under 50lbs depending on how I was feeling. Power is not an issue for me so I string a little tighter for theoretical control. I would start this smaller head size with the tension previously used on the OS. At least even if you don't like it you have a reference point to tailor it to your game.

I have one and also have a POG 4 stripe OS. I would NOT string the 100 near the tension that I I string my OS(60lbs) I have found that this stick wants tension less than 55 whether syn gut or full multi. I don't play with poly but If I did I would go way lower.

I'm thinking to just experiment on the safe side and go 45/50 with the strings I mentioned. I have to be careful because I've had elbow problems in the past. I can remember stringing the pog os at 45/50 with different strings and I could tell the difference. Thanks for the replies.

Hey! Just out of curiousity - Which racket you use mostly?

I tend to suggest only changing one variable at a time. As you are changing frame size, I'd recommend keeping same string and tension set up. Then adjust accordingly.

I use the 100 mostly. I have made the mistake of stringing it too tight a couple different times and it payed harsh to me. Backed off tension and played great. I did get some advice from this forum but I ignored it. Learned the hard way. I had a syn gut at 54 and played great...still does even after dropping no telling how much. Have multifeel in the other at 55 and it plays good. I could probably string my )S less that 60 but at 60 it playes fine and does not bother my arm at all. Over 55 on the 100 made the sweet spot too small for me.
I have some prince pure control in 15L and at 55 on the 100 it killed me. When I use it again, I will string it at 50.

I will probably also go next time a little bit lower, I think Multifeel in 16g @ 54 should be ideal in terms of control/power/comfort/forgiveness balance.
