Winner will be decided by the weather, humid and windy condition Carlos wins -Novak wins if the tempeature is below 28 C and winds are below 15 km/h.
Hoping for normal weather as a Djokovic fan but it could be a sh*t storm :)

I think this match was honestly a wake up call for Alcaraz. He was sloppy at times and that let Djokovic back into the match. He needs to know he hasn't 'solved' Djokovic and if they play at the US Open, it's going to be a tough fight. So I suspect he will go in being less complacent but also having the knowledge that he can beat Djokovic. So I still have him as the favourite

Carlos as the BO5 format suits him well and he usually raises his level to a point no one from the field can hope to challenge him for 5 sets aside from Novak.

Especially since this is not 2019-2021 to have peak Thiem, Zverev, Medvedev or a half-decent Nadal in the draw.

Probably still Alcaraz goes in as a favourite but not by a lot. Djokovic still has it and Wimbledon and yesterday was mighty close with Djokovic who is not done yet. The field is less likely but there is always a small chance of upset.

Alcaraz is the slight favourite still. It will come down to the draw and weather conditions as well.

There isn’t much between Alcaraz and Djokovic. They are both incredible players and physical beasts. Alcaraz will be tough to beat in best of 5 I feel. That said djoko still proved he can hang with him which is remarkable to be honest. It would be great to get another classic match between them.

It will be surprising if anyone else wins but you never know at us open. Maybe both guys killed each other last night and we have a repeat of French open 2009 like madrid 2009 bloodbath lol.

I have sinner, meddy, hurkacz, Zverev all in the mix after the top 2. I have my doubts on Tsitsipas, Rune or ruud doing much.

Carlos played a total of 23 sets in Toronto and Cincy, including 7 consecutive 3 setters, which is insane. There's really no reason for a 36 year old ATG to be favourite over a 20 year old in a BO5 match, but if this trend continues, Djoker will be there to take him down for sure.

Depends on the draw, but I give a very slight edge to Alcaraz now....Djokovic has seriously closed the gap on him. They are the clear favs, I would surprised if it is not one of them to be honest.

alcaraz has more chances of winning the final than getting to the final, he is still not in his physical prime but already a beast......best of 5 will definitely suit him quite well......overall there is no clearcut favourite for this one because you cannot leave out senior citizens like zverev and medvedev who are actually capable of causing the upset against young alcaraz and ripe old djokovic......keep an eye on tiafoe if he gets a night session under ashe against any of the big guns......

I love both, Alcaraz and Djokovic, but I hope Djokovic will win it one more time and this time must be now. (Would be a great comeback to the US in many ways). But tbh I think Alcaraz has way better chances. But USO always has been the slam with most surprises. Maybe Medwedev is feeling it again?

If they meet there, Djokovic will win in easy straight sets. Alcaraz is mentally done in this matchup, just like the other next gen. I'll not be surprised if he now goes on to lose 10 in a row, just like Tsitsipas.

It’s going to be difficult for whomever wins, if they meet. No easy straight set wins.

I voted Djokovic. He won after 4 hours with 55% serve in the third set. He still has a lot left in the tank.
