Winner Sinner
Hall of Fame
It's not a poll about which player you think was the best, but which one you like the most.
Initial premise, I don't include Sinner in the survey (he would never have won anyway) so no one can say that I exploit the surveys with the aim of making Sinner stand out (lol) with hypothetical subliminal messages.
Having said this, I will include 16 players in the survey, a mix of active players with vintage ones.
There will be some names currently still active or more recent that may raise eyebrows, but I start from the assumption that the vast majority of forum users have not lived through all the various eras.
I know very well that it would be more democratic to include a Wilander rather than a Wawrinka, but almost everyone has experienced a Wawrinka while a Wilander has not.
The configuration is very simple and I will try to list it in these points;
- virtual board of 16 players.
- scoreboard in which the various intersections are assigned through virtual seedings 1-16 where the single seeding is assigned based on the total number of slams won, for example Djokovic being the player with the highest number of slams won will have the 1, and so on.
In the event of a tie in the slam calculation, precedence will be given to the older player.
- In each thread of this first round I will start two challenges at a time to spread the time.
Then from the quarter-finals onwards one challenge will emerge at a time every 24 hours.
- The survey for each challenge will last 24 hours.
- Obviously only one voting option per user, or as in this case where there are two challenges, two options.
These are the 16 chosen ones that I have identified (with seeding attached);
1 Djokovic
2 Nadal
3 Federer
4 Sampras
5 Borg
6 Laver
7 Connors
8 Lendl
9 Agassi
10 McEnroe
11 Edberg
12 Becker
13 Alcaraz
14 Wawrinka
15 Murray
16 del Potro
