This doesn't even deserve poll.

Gasquet has never won anything above a 250. Which he stattpadded being from France and participating in many French 250s.

Not once threatened top players.

Second worst is rublev. Total loser in slams never even reaching a semifinal.

When Gasquet used to be top 10, every player fans wanted him to be in their quarter.

Easy qf for sure.

He even played semis 2 times vs fed and nole. Easy semis.

Well but Gasquet was a contemporary of the big three/fab four someone will tell you...

Nation of origin has a lot to do with many players stat padding with 250s.

French American players usually have stattpadded playing god knows what events. Like Delray beach and Memphis and lyon etc.

I have stopped looking at these events for top 10 players. It's more of a prep for top guys. Medvedev doesn't even play most 250s and still is in top 5. At his age it's all about grand slams and he is playing that way.

Atp president himself says top guys don't need to play 250.

So someone like Richard Gasquet padding 250s is very much unimportant.

At least rublev has many 500s some of which are good runs.

Gasquet and the Regret of Nadal

Richard Gasquet shared a bitter memory from his career: his 18-0 record in matches against Rafael Nadal. “I lost 18 times to him, it's horrible. I won't say it was a pleasure, because it's a shame not to have beaten him,” the Frenchman confessed to Super Moscato.
“I knew him since I was a kid, he wasn't someone who scared me, I even beat him at 13,” Gasquet added. “I thought I could beat him in Monaco in 2005, then everything became more difficult, he progressed enormously. When you are an athlete and you never manage to beat someone, it hurts, there's no doubt about it.”

Gasquet had mediocre forehand and mediocre serve.

I can never respect such players. Big serve big forehand is the deal.
