Clash of the cheaters. Each one has developed a nice resume for cheating this week. Bigger cheater in 2.

Hoping Raonic enters the Joachim Johansson-mode I expected him to play with before. His game CAN trouble Nadal, it's just that his movement doesn't.

Nadal has looked quite strong, and though I'm a fan of Milos, I think Nadal has it. Want Milos to win in front of his home crowd though.

Imagine if Raonic pulls of the upset. All hell would break loose.

He COULD do it, Raonic has arguably the best first serve the game has ever seen and a pretty strong mentality too. If Nadal comes out a little flat, he could easily have a really tough time even getting a racquet on Raonic's serve. All it takes is one bad service game/lucky return game for Raonic a set. That said, I think Nadal will win in 2.

Wait, he was sponsored by Lacoste? I see him wearing Lacoste gear at Tokyo 2012 against Murray. What happened? Going from Lacoste to NB is not good.

Lacoste needs to drop John Isner and sign Milos. For goodness sake, he's ranked 13!

Milos has had a New Balance contract for almost a year. Notice the various coloured maple leaf shirts he is wearing at Rogers Cup. NB is at the bottom of the left sleeve. Very nice shirts BTW.

That had to hurt. At least he didn't get hurt from it.

I am concerned that Nadal will be tired tomorrow after the semi. Hopefully he has something left in the tank for tomorrow.

Djokovic gave Rafa a look when Rafa come to the net to offer an apology.

Fortunately Djokovic has a full head of thick hair to protect him from such incidents,

I'll be rooting for Raonic but I don't think he has much of a chance. I'd like to like Rafa but he frankly annoys me too much with all his rituals.

If Raonic serves great, and S&V's a lot, he can win.

He serves as well as Sampras did when he is on, and his volleys are probably 70% as good. Definitely a chance.

It should be obvious to everyone by now that Raonic is no Sampras. His first service success rate yesterday was 57%, considering that his main [only] weapon.

yea his 11 minute MTO was one of the best. excellent strategy when no one does anything to stop it.

What about knocking over his bottles? Or distract by performing a gangnam style while Nadal is serving? Soderling and Rosol did it successfully. ;)

If Raonic wins this, I will forget all the sins committed by him this week. But still the truth is that the probability of an oscar award for 'Scary Movie' is more than him winning this match. :(

Well I'd certainly be surprised if Nadal doesn't win, but that Raonic serve could very well be a vital equaliser.

Nadal in... 2.

Where is N-S-K and why hasn't he come here to say that Raonic has never broken Nadal's serve in all their encounters so far?

If I was Raonic, I would take a good look at both Wimbledon early losses by Nadal. The surface speed at Montreal is comparable (with this new ball of theirs).

I would also attempt to deprive Nadal of any rhythm. 2-3 shot rallies, flat and hard. Winners and UEs. Nasty, ugly gambling, no skill required, just luck.

LMAO you sir are awesome!

PS: Fully agree with your assessment!

My pick : Ralph in straights with one close set.

hahahaa. Let me try: "How can Raonic beat Nadal when he got destroyed on HC". :)

Nah you're better at this than I am! *tips hat*

About this tournament, how would it rate in terms of pace? I mean, it could be medium, but it doesn't really look that much faster than IW and Miami (although the difference is still noticeable). Used to think this was a fast court (well, before 2010/2011 I guess), but it's not very fast...the three remaining HC masters seem faster, although Paris probably only because of the indoor conditions. Comparing it to IW and Miami would be a bit absurd though, I guess.

And no, not asking because I'm complaining about slower courts or because Rafa has success on it, before someone immediately starts. :') I just find this kind of thing quite interesting.

Oh and to be on-topic: I voted Nadal in two. That's moreso hope than a prediction, although I don't see why he couldn't. Raonic is going to be moved around and Nadal is capable of returning enough serves. I think Nadal having trouble with big hitters is very much exaggerated anyway. Yes, they can beat him, if they hit those big shots consistently within the lines. So basically they have to play at an insanely good level to beat an in-form Nadal. I can't say Raonic has reached an insanely good level this week and while reaching the final is a great result of course, he seems to have the same weaknesses as before. Nadal should take this, Raonic will have to serve almost perfect to have any sort of chance imo.

He just did, you disguised poster. ;)

Ehm, now that you have outed me, I need not pretend anymore.

RNadal :p taught ***** the lesson of his life on HC. RFederer  had better be praying that RNadal :p withdraws from Cincy to avoid 21-10 with a bagel or two.

RNadal is now the favorite for USO and since he was up a break in the fifth set of AO' 12 against *****, he will be the favorite for AO' 14. RG is a done deal since no player in world history has beaten him there when his parents are not divorcing, so at Wimbledon 2014, he will be going for the Rafa Slam again firmly establishing himself as the only man in world history.

I have a feeling this could be a horrible final. I hope Raonic can put a fight. Who knows? Maybe Raonic's style will be a big change for Nadal and will throw him off.

I'm gonna said Nadal in straights, 6-3 6-2.

LOL nicely done.

I really can't see Milos winning this. I've just looked at their H2H record and Milos has only ever had one break point in their 3 matches.

Admittedly, he converted it. On clay no less, earlier this year in Barcelona.

Stranger things have happened I guess, but I'm not counting on it.

I would love to see Milos win his first ATP masters title, and shock the world, but I think Nadal will just be too much for him.

Nadal in straights.

One thing I'll say about Milos is that he seems to moving better, and I like that he's charging the net more, and even mixing in some S & V. His new coach Ivan Ljubičić seems to be paying off.

Nadal in 2. One close set and one beatdown. Lol at all the butthurt posts by the Nadal haters aka Fedfans. Look for another Son Of God. Joker is no longer your messiah, not even on hardcourt. :) Just seeing all the butthurt in here is more satisfying than that epic win last night.
