I think medvedev moves too good and would counter roddicks power. Roddick wasn’t exactly a great mover. Med struggles with players who have not only power but can move like Carlos and sinner.
Med to me is a Murray/Hewitt type player. Maybe smarter who needs to channel some of that power he does have and get a tad more aggressive. Murray refused to change anything to his game. Will medvedev?

One thing I can see is if med has another year with no titles and him showing mentally and physically being burned out from the tour - he could retire at 30.
