Poll: The 5 best Head rackets of the past 10 years!

Frans Bleker

Over the past years, in my opinion Head produced some very good and some very bad rackets. The good years (from the last 10) were in my opinion: Microgel, Youtek and Youtek IG. Now I'm wondering if people do tend to favor rackets from those lines as well or not.

Please select 5 of your favorite Head rackets from the past 10 years (So Microgel, Youtek, IG, Graphene, XT and Touch)

EDIT: So the Poll doesn't do what I want it to do, so please list your 5 favorite Head Rackets from the past 10 years!

IG Radical MP was also an insanely good frame, such stability, plow, power and comfort on a 95 sq inch 18x20 weighing just 295 grams!

One: Microgel Prestige Mid
Two: Youtek Prestige MP and IG Prestige MP
Three: Youtek IG Extreme Pro Two Point Zero - Sorry my keyboard is messed up and I can't enter some numbers.
Four: Youtek Radical Pro - I could never figure out why many folks liked IG Radical series rackets...They felt like toys after using Youtek Radical Pros.

Currently using i.Prestige MP XL. It turns out I like i.Prestige Mid, MP, and MP XL better than all other iterations of Prestige.

I think people like the IG because they were more stable from the baseline/more forgiving, but the feel of the Youteks was great indeed!

Anybody have thoughts on the graphene xt prestige pro? They're on the cheaper side lately, and I also feel like the specs are pretty close to what I like.

Found them to differ alot on RA, and in general they are stiff, so if you don't mind that you can try it.

iPrestige Mid is the best Head frame since it's release in 2001 and probably the best before then as well. I'd say that also covers the last 10 years per your poll. ;-)

I'm sure some will say the PT630 and I couldn't debate that assertion one bit.

I think that the IG models are going to age out of ten years pretty soon. I got mine in 2010/2011 I think.

The Microgel models are definitely over ten years old.

The PT2.0 is an amazing racket and layup, however, a few more that are worth mentioning lately: Extreme Tour and Gravity Pro are my 2019/2020 favorites. Have a feeling that next year’s Radicals are going to be awesome ;)

The Gravity Pro is awesome and is a frame that's going to stick around for the next decade.
I'm particularly curious about the new Radicals… With the Speeds as Head's tweeners, will the Radicals return to a more control-oriented vein or will it be a bridge between the Speed and the Gravity lines?

I guess we will find out in about 6 months or so...
