Would easily nominate Indian Wells and Rome. Not sure about the third one.
Silly me. Sureshs gave us all an important answer ten years ago.
Cincinnati (only hardcourt Masters to precede a hardcourt Slam)
Canada?
All the clay ones
I feel like there needs to be a better distinction between the nine Masters 1000s. They're all so different in structure that it's hard to attribute 1,000 points to each of them. Maybe upgrade Sunshine Double and Rome to 1,200 points or something?
I agree with this. They should be weighted higher (at least the two 96 MD tournaments).I feel like there needs to be a better distinction between the nine Masters 1000s. Not Monte-Carlo! Beautiful tournament. Plus, it's the first big event of the clay season. Better for Madrid to be 750 than MC.Maybe to keep the points even, you could make IW and Miami worth 1250 apiece and make Monte Carlo and Paris worth 750 apiece. (Or 1200 and 800, something along those lines.)
Yeah, unfortunately. That's a big gripe of mine, tbh. Monte-Carlo is one of the better events on the tour, at least in my opinion.I just picked it because it's already considered a non-mandatory event.
Canadian is the oldest tournament after Wimbledon , so it is the most imp masters in my opinion
Favorite. They all award 1000 ranking points to the winner and nearly equal big money.Am I rating my favourite or the most important?

Cinci never was or never will be the fifth slam except for the most rabid Federer fans.Same here, I went with Cincy as its the 5th slam and whatnot, plus its usually a nice indicator of USO form.
This whole "Cincy Slam" thing was started by a Nadal fan.Cinci never was or never will be the fifth slam except for the most rabid Federer fans.
