Threads about Alexander 'Sascha' Zverev bloom regularly on TTW, so I just want to know how is his image in a broader picture.

Anonymous poll, feel free to vote.
Put in a comment the reasons for your judgments, thank you.

He's clearly #1 in all our hearts

Awful person. Especially now it’s come out that days after Olya Sharypova made the domestic violence accusations against him he started talking about how he was friends with Medvedev and Med’s wife who just conveniently is good friends with Olya.

Daniil even said in his press conference how weird that was and that they were never friends.

Zverev is a terrible human being.

He’s annoying and potentially an abuser, but that’s not been proven for sure so who knows. Him and Tsitsipas are by far the easiest to root against on the tour.

I like him and always have. IMO when you first watch a player, you either like his game or you don't. When he first came on the scene, and I watched his first few matches, I was in. I like watching his matches and when I look at a draw or days schedule I'd much rather see him in there than Ruud, or Titsi, or Hubi, or Rublev. I understand why some people judge him for his personal issues, but I don't, because I don't know what really happened. Tennis is more fun when he's doing well and I hope he gets back to top form and finds success. Haters gonna hate, but keep in mind - there's nothing better than a redemption story.

Don't like him, never was a fan - Zverev is extremely cocky and arrogant for someone who is slamless (and I hope he remains so until he retires, thank goodness Thiem won 2020 USO otherwise we'd never hear the end of how Zverev is a slam champ)

His outburst against the umpire last year was despicable.

Since the poll is anonymuous, I just wanted to make sure I‘m
(-4) #ABZ for life
At no point did I have any doubts in this decision.

Only thing you and @The Fedfather will ever agree on. lol

Yes, well I definitely am no hater of Zverev, not too big a fan either unless he sheds his choker tag and begins to win slams. But then enjoy watching him play, so no reason to being anti, so as per the poll I am a +1 on the scale mentioned by the OP.

I don't know him. Why would I make a personal judgment? Players in the heat of battle sometimes do weird stuff. No big deal to me.

'd call it kinda neutral, i..e dont dislike and dont like him, same attitude as to meddy or citybus for example, makes no big difference lol

Music videos ,gifs and memes with Meles was probably when Z could have been one of my favorite guys in the world. Rather indifferent now.

+1 to the diabetic comment. I always take a special interest. Gary Mabbutt was my guy when I was growing up, even though he is Spurs.

Bold claim coming but I think when he's on, he is one of the best players on the tour in terms of actual tennis talent. Better than Medvedev/Tsitsipas/Sinner/Rune/Alcaraz but he's a headcase who can't see out wins because of how much he chokes and as a person he seems somewhat unlikable. He went through a phase where he was alright but lately he seems like he's gone back to his arrogant persona and I don't like that.

The reason why Zverev is hated by djofanbase

Nah I don't dislike Zverev because he beat Djoker in the Olympics semi, Djoker's game was pure trash in that match after he went up 6-1, 3-2 and couldn't seal the deal to win the match to go on and win either a silver or gold medal.

Zverev is nothing but an arrogant egotistical brat with a dodgy 2nd serve who thinks he's awesome but he really isn't.

I like his game.. Talented player. Personal life.... I don't care really. If we knew most of these guys' personal lives, we would probably only respect about 5 percent of them. LOL. Its just a shame he was injured. He would probably have 2 slams by now at least. I think hes underachieved in a sense and has been dealt from bad breaks

He’s annoying and potentially an abuser, but that’s not been proven for sure so who knows. Him and Tsitsipas are by far the easiest to root against on the tour.
He got cleared after an exhaustive investigation. Because of that he has a right to hold his head up high.
