Safin.

Then nalbandian. There are myths about nalbandian. That reminds me of players from small countries like simona halep from Romania. When players are from small or relatively smaller countries, these myths are even higher.

Like sinner today , his Italian fans are very vocal. It might be same with nalbandian in Argentinian tennis.

Plus players who played highly aggressive are always overrated here. People don't care about real matches just few highlights. And there these players have hot shots.

Healthy Rafa was a dangerous Rafa. One might think this is recency bias but just think about it.

Although, a taller Raz sounds like a force to be reckoned with. Like that guy needs anymore advantages in life.

A tall Alcaraz would get the most votes here. Of course, Alcaraz at 6 foot 4 would have people saying that he'll still keep his blazing speed, which isn't realistic. But we are talking about hypothetical players. A 6 foot 4 Alcaraz would be bombing 150 mph serves with pinpoint accuracy, while making 2011 Djokovic look like Fat Albert with his wheels. And he'd be hitting 105 mph bombs with both wings.

A disciplined Safin would gather the 2nd most votes.

But my vote goes to a hypothetical non-GOAT version of Andrew Barron Murray; not to be mistaken for the real-life MuryGOAT. Even the hypothetical non-goat version of Andy Murray would beat the hypothetical 6 foot 4 version of Alcaraz that runs 30 mph with 150 mph serves 15 times out of 20. The real MuryGOAT beats the real Alcaraz 20 times out of 20 while never losing a set.

Whenever we see people mentioning athletes as underachievers, most of the times we can say they are overrating.

A true champion fights despite physical issues like Murray did.
Safin overachieved given the constant distractions from women giving him their phone numbers.

Focused Safin would have easily been an all time great on HC but he's done nothing on grass or especially clay to suggest he would be anywhere close to "unbeatable".

Healthy Nadal would still lose on hard and grass. It depends on the height, but if tall Alcaraz can serve like Kyrgios for example while retaining his baseline game it'd be scary.

After 20 billion hypothetical contests, The Swiss remains unbeaten. I think the stage where he won 50 consecutive Pokemon events is still his greatest achievement, although it is hard to pick just one.

From the last, I'll go with Safin.

If Berrettini with the backhand was put among the options then why not put Tsitsipas in his place? At least Berrettini plays the slice very well with his backhand, infinitely better than Tsitsipas. If Tsitsipas had had a solid backhand for the 2019-2022 period, he would have been difficult to contain.
Rather a Berrettini with a lower body proportionate to the upper body.
Or why not put a Zverev with a more constant forehand or with a more proactive head. As an Italian I think of a Fognini with an elite service. Rune with an adult brain. Ferrer with tennis talent. Berdych with more mobility. If Dimitrov had been less beautiful and more concrete from a tennis perspective. Agassi with a servebot joke in the servebot era. Borg if he hadn't lost his mind.

Berrettinni backhand is far worse than tsitsipas backhand.

Slice is not an option let's not kid ourselves. Slice shows weakness in modern tennis.

I partially agree, on grass the slice backhand remains a devastating weapon. However, the problem with Berrettini's backhand, rather than the fundamental one in itself (which already has obvious structural defects), derives from his poor lateral mobility. If he had more lateral mobility he could better contain the flaws of that fundamental.

Yes agreed.
