EDIT: The OP asks for the "least significant" player, not necessarily the worst. In that case, it might still be Puerta, but it may also be Sock or PCB. Hard to say.

Puerta. If you remove his French Open final due to doping, he only reached the third round in one other Major, and, if you remove his Canada QF in 2005 also due to doping, he only has one Masters Series QF. He basically has a .500 career record and 3 minor clay court titles, 1 that again was likely due to doping in 2005. And, of course, in his WTF appearance, he went 0-3, winning 1 set against alternate Gonzalez before losing the third set 6-0.
