Poly experiment ending?

I have been using various polyester strings (BB Ace 18g, Enduro Pro 17g, Ashaway Monogut 17g, ALU Rough 16g, Polylast 17g. . .) over the past 1 1/2 years usually sturng around 5-53 lbs. I love the spin and power that I feel with using poly strings and of course, the durability.

Over the past few weeks, my shoulder has been feeling "dead", like it has no strength, although it doesn't feel tired. This week, I have actually felt some pain also. Can anyone suggest some soft poly strings or hybrid jobs that might help cushion the blow a bit. I use a LM Instinct, which I like a lot.

I am sure that I need to rest it for a while and also should go see a doctor, but I have one match left this summer and then I can rest after that.

Thanks for reading and any advice is appreciated.

Prince Polygut 17 may be what the doctor ordered. Another poly that's easy on the arm is Kirschbaum Super Spiky or Honey in the 17 gauge. I'd try the Prince Polygut first since it's only $5.

Either try some softer polys or put some natural gut in the crosses. Prince Polygut, Signum Poly Plasma, Kirschbaum Touch Turbo are all soft polys. If it still hurts after the natural gut hybrid, then its time to take a break!

Try head rip control, a multifilament with polyester wraps giving you a soft but crisp feel. I have used poly exclusively for the past 3 years but am really enjoying the Rip Control.

Signum Poly Plasma is on the softer side for a poly, I use it in a hybrid with PSGD crosses.
